Are you planing to integrate it into CoC Unified Artillery? As it allready supports non-guided ballistic rocket/missiles (Check the mlrs) and guided cruisemissiles. This addon would rock for CoC Chain of Command missions and for dynamic campaing/missions.

Simply astonishing! Only problem is that reflecting water doesnt work with my Geforce3 Ti200 Oh well, it would probably be a helluva lagfest with this rigg anyway. Other effects work perfectly with pretty stable 25-35 fps. Specs 1.4 Ghz AMD Athlon Thunderbird Geforce 3 Ti200 (Latest Omega Drivers) 768MB

Whoo , Great job Finmod team EDIT: nevermind. that was obsolete file -
So what are the new features in VBS1 when compared to OFP 1.96? Animals, directx 9, aircarft carriers, ..? How the terrain has been improved? Does it offer better protection than in normal OFP1? Especially protection against enemy artillery fire. In military simulation, things like dynamic enviroment which changes when being hit by arty fire, or natural/buildable foxholes, i believe are pretty important for squadbased training. Can player move more naturally? Like jump over edges, Climb over walls, kick down doors? Does it have infrared imaging devices? Realistic ballistics for bullets? What about the communication system, can player/commander give orders for squads, platoons, companies? Does the AI behave more real? Like understanding the enviroment, taking cover. Does it have any strategic or tactical understanding?

A new patch, nice Good that you tweaked the rpg75/law to have a more realistic values, as it now needs two shots to destroy a bmp, which is a pretty good compromise between realism and playbility. I noticed that PT-76 needs three rpg75 hits, does it really have that thick armor? Maybe in next patch you could add the sa-58 to standard resistance soldiers and update the resistance bmp, t55 and t72 models. I think I found some bugs. 1. Normal resistance-side soldiers have recieved two weapons in their inventory, ak47 and ak47cz, the later when selected has no ammo and when you select it and try to fire it, the game crashes to desktop. 2. East T72B? has missing indoor textures. 3. OT-62 Command, when creating empty vehicle in editor and when trying to "get in ot62, back seat" the player gets in the commanders seat. Im using ofpr version 1.96 beta.

Children addon would be cool for vietnam era missions.. Full Metal Jacket: Joker: How can you shoot women and children? Gunner: Easy... you just don't lead 'em so much.

Niiiiccee!!! @Golum: Finland was considering buying attack helicopters in late 90s(The models considered and tested were apache and tiger), as a companion for the NH-90s. But it was scrapped due to too high maintence & operating costs, not for political reasons. Also the use of helicopters requires air superiority(or atleast "local" airsuperiority). Problem is that our main enemy(russia) is a superpower and there is noway our 65 hornet fighters could give resistance against enemy that has hundreds of fighters. So if an allout war would breake out, there would be little use for few attack helicopters especially when we dont have airsuperiority. So the helicopters in FDF are mainly for peacetime and possible peacekeeping operations. Thus attack helicopters would be too expensive toys for a small country like finland.

Before we start planning the size and equipment of NDF, we need to decide what is the primary task of NDF. Naturally it would the task of providing security to the island(s) of Nogova. But what is the security situation in Nogova? Is there a insurgency problem? If so, then NFD should be counter insurgency oriented, it should have fast moving, highly mobile but lightly equipt security forces. That are capable on moving fast in to the trouble zones and push back the enemy. Is nogova an independent country? Or is it part of Warsav or Nato? If so then it doenst need a big airforce, only some interceptors to guard the airspace on peace time. If there is a insurgency problem, it would need transport&recon helos, and possibly few attack helos. But not an army of air superiority fighters or anything big. Remember this is not an superpower you are arming

very nice Except that their hats are not what I would wear in winter. No at least here in finland(Grimmer looks out of the window and sees that temperature meter shows -20'C(-4'F), hrrr). Unless they are hardskinned finns who use shorts in -20'C In FDF, -20'C temperature is no excuse for not making your cooppers running test I'd like to see them with winter caps(like FDF sissi cap) or even better solution would be the "revohka" fur hats.

You can find lots of information about FDF, its history, history of finland, etc, from the official pages of Finnish Defence Forces. Finnish Defence Forces http://www.mil.fi/english/ There are also good booklets about FDF in general. Great job! I love the new island, mig21 and tons of other goodies. Just few questions, Whats the difference between T54 and T55M? Other than weaponry and armour? are there any special scripts for T55M? Also, is there any readme which would list all the scripts and stuff? In FDFmod thread you mentioned about sanla artillery script, how can I use it in my missions?
