I want to make a trigger, that if all the enemies that are in a trigger, are dead, a radio message gets activated (I know how to make radio messages, that's not the problem).Sounds quite easy, but I don''t know how to make it. Tried Search but this is a quite hard subject to find. Does any1 know how to do this?

Hi guys, I was kinda bored at school today, so I was thinking about the OFP community, the addons, OFP2, etc. At one moment, I got a great idea. I first thought that it wasn't possible, but "impossible" is a forbidden word in the OFP community after BAS, FDF and especially DXDLL. My idea: Set the time still with some kind of script. Everything is freezed by now, but the most cool thing is, you can just move around at the camera.sqs way. This would be a very very very cool thing for making screenshots. For example, you could make much better screenshots in great battles, like Battlefield or a take the town mission. We've already seen the very detailed units and scripts, made by BAS. We've seen how many units the FDF mod contained. DXDLL gave new breath, with the reflecting water. This is easy to make, isn't it?

Is it possible to change my old name into 00RedBaron? I'm active on many forums, and I want to have one name. When I wanted to login a few minutes ago, I had to search a few minutes for my name.

If u use moveindriver, the body would fall down. Is there a way to make a dead pilot to move in the cargo, after he's dead, and after that, the co-pilt can take over control?

"Qua Patet Orbis, Semper Penis" as far as the world extends, always the prick. Thumbs up!

In that case, superdude Marek Spanel would certainly win!

Ok, but if I activate the trigger by running into their camp, there could be a enemy who's still alive. I want to make my mission a perfect one. It's not a disaster if you guys don't know the answer, but it makes the mission better (and not so buggy). Klote man, ik stel de vraag maar op het ofp.info forum.

I think that it's not clear to you, nemesis (not your fault). In my mission, I'm playing as a VDV paratrooper. Me and my mates got orders to capture a radio post, and to hold it, the enemy Finnish army will throw anything they have at my position. When I've captured the post, and killed all the Finnish and civilians (Russian style), I want to a trigger that activates: "1" ObjStatus "DONE" And at the same time, shows a radio message, which says that there are coming Finnish reinforcements my way.

Okay, but if I put down a End #1 trigger, it only gets activated if ALL the enemies at the island are dead. The mission is to capture a base, and to hold it. I want to make a trigger, that's get activated when all enemies in the base are dead. Papa Bear reports that there are enemy reinfrocements coming, after every enemy in the base is dead.

1) You can check it by yourself, by this way: In the OFP standard menu, click on the Player icon in the top left of the screen. Make or use a personal, and edit it. You can edit, voices, glasses etc. Also faces. Select, faces scroll down till you reached Troska's face. Troska's face is "Face R01". Scroll down and count each face (FaceR02, FaceR03 etc.) till you reached the first female face, FaceR04 I think. There are six woman faces, R04-R10. Tested it in the editor, but the female faces didn't worked But the male faces do work. 2) I don'think there is one. I never heard a female voice (not the voices BIS recorded for dialogs in cutscenes) in OFP.

It is possible to use Guba's face on every unit. I dunno if you can use the face of a res woman on every unit. Anyone tried? It would be cool to have Angelina's body, with Guba's face and Guba's body with Angelina's face
-
I'll help you edi. It's not this: this setface "01" but this: this setface "face01" I once made a list of faces, with Guba, Armstrong etc. on it, but I gave it to a friend. One face I know is Troska's one, "FaceR01". If you wanna find out, how to use Guba's face, just go to the Player options in the top left of your screen, and count till you have your guy.

Hi guys, i've got a few questions. - I want to make a screen, where a tank is firing over long distances, with the crew turned out. When they see a M113, they'll just turn in, if I use this setbehaviour "SAFE". - In a spec op mission, where the resistance have to drop you, you always start next to the driver, if you use this moveincargo name. Tried to put game logic in, but you always start in the front. I tried to search, but these questions are quite hard to find.

Hi guys, As a real Flashpoint fan I want my missions to be realistic. In CWC, you have a spec op mission where you (Gastovski) have to blow up 3 Shilka's on Kolgujev. HQ says over the radio something like: "Operation Iron Fist starts". I was thinking, could the enemy listen to the US Radio frequenties? I they did, it wouldn't be smart i've you give orders, positions etc. over the radio. My second questions, I'm making a standard mission where you have to capture a village. You're starting in a Pasi, it's 3 minutes driving to the village. Capturing the village is a part of a great offensive, with air/artillery support. When you listen to the radio as soldier, would it be realistic if you hear HQ talk to pilots and tanks, other units talking with each other ( like: "Alpha Eight to Bravo Four, there are Russians coming from the south, get some fucking tanks over here!").
-
Pete and Oakster, thanks for helping. I will try to use wait you guys said in my mission. Although it's realistic, I don't think it makes the mission beter, if I would use the way Pete said. Maybe in the West vs. East mission, I could use it. If the enemy attacks with tanks from the south, the radioman (player) would say in flashpoint "Foxtrot four to alpha nine, enemy tanks and infantry coming from the south, need help, out". Maybe I can do it in another way. If I want to make it realistic, my squad leader can say to me: "Armstrong, send to HQ that enemy thanks and inf are coming from the south" (you see this as a text, not radiomessage), after that Armstrong will send the 'code' like Pete said. But do have squad members personal radios or other things to communicate with other squadmembers? Like if four guys fire with a MG from the south, four guys charge in from the west, but they can hardly see each other, or they are to far from each other. Can they communicate with personal radios, telephones?
-
Thanks Pete. Are these 'rules' valuable if you are in another kind of battlefield, like Bosnia? In the movie Warriors, they don't talk like you typed in your reply, they just say: "Alpha One to Alpha Two, do you have some information about that officer that was shot last night?", you know what I mean.

What kind of missions do you guys like?
GI_Rutger replied to Stuff's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Spec-op missions aren't original, we've had enough blow up en clean sweep for three years. These ideas may help you: 1) A mission were you have to find a Russian UAV camp. Give the coordinates via SANLA, so they can bomb it. After each UAV is blown up, you have go to the pick up point. There are Russians patrolling through the area, to find you, and when you come to the pick up point, HQ says that they don't want to risk a helicopter to get shot down. So you have to sneak to a village, steal a car, or find a resistance camp. You have to return to you own lines, on the other side of the island. FDF recommended.
