Umm... didn't you read the mission briefing? Some tanks are hidden to the south of your insertion point. Or is it possible that you didn't do something in the earlier missions. I mostly did all the work by myself in my T80 . I had two T55's and one T80 hidden there. The T72 from the patrol found that area though and it so happened that I had my men there so one of the T55's was damaged.

OKAY...... Just finished reading all this. Uh... few things I want to say. You shouldn't think either side (East and West) to be evil. They're just two superpowers at that time. I don't think Flashpoint makes it look like the East was evil. I think it makes it look like Guba was evil. I don't consider myself fighting the real Soviet Union in the game, I consider myself fighting Guba's forces. Now, in Resistance it looks like Guba was taking orders so I may be wrong. However in the original game and Red Hammer Guba was doing that all by himself. As for the soldiers under his command, they didn't know about Guba not taking orders, they didn't think they could resistance they're own comrades, or they agreed in what Guba ordered which would most likely go for the officers. Dimitri Lukin goes under the first, because he didn't know. He was skilled enough and brave enough to fight him though. I think the leaders of the Soviet Union didn't like Guba too much. Anyway... I thought Resistance was a great game. The island is the best thing about it. By the way, Kopijeger, what I did on those tank missions were get in as gunner. After playing First Strike in the gunner's spot of a T80 I was able to tear the enemy tanks apart. I'm starting to like the T80 as before I was afraid of it usually being on the American side. You can do alot better as gunner instead of commander. It also makes less people in them so you can have more tanks. You can order the driver to go wherever just like in the commanding seat. The only problem is that you don't have radar. But its not so bad. We're thinking too much though. We should just have fun with the game and forget about realism. The closer it gets to realism the closer it gets to war. Already games are being used as motivations to join the army and training tools.

Nevermind... I reverted and the tent worked. Still don't get the being injured at the start of the mission though.

I'm having a problem on the last mission (or at least I think its the last mission). First of all I start injured which doesn't make since. It was Gastovski that got injured not me. I finally found out the Spetz Naz were there so I took care of them and then the Med Tent wouldn't heal me. I haven't tried the mission alot yet but decided to post this and see if this happened to anyone else.

If you just want to finish the mission, you can first drive a little to the east close to the camp and then put up the flare. That activates the trigger so all the Soviet troops come to the beach instead of your location. The objective is completed and the mission will end when you get to the camp. The only problem is that you won't get the American supplies. But I hardly collected any weapons or ammo throughout the whole mission and I was fine.

I beat the mission but in a strange but smart strategy. I went to sleep, leaving the computer on over night onthat mission so when I woke up it would be night in the game. The battle had died down with my two T55's being destroyed and all the Resistance dead. There were 3 T72s and 1 BMP left in the town with a few infantry. I went back to the outpost and got some RPG's and night vision for me and my medic. I returned to the forest to wait until the next day. When I came back it was night so I went to the town looking for some more RPG's. I avoided the tanks, killed some infantry and got two more RPG's. I know had 4 so I went to the top of a building where I would be safe and destroyed two T72's. Then I went looking for more RPG's, killing the remaining infantry on the way. I got 3 more RPG's and destroyed the remaining T72 and BMP .

Well, I'm glad it went that good for you, which mode where you playing it? (Cadet and Veteran). I did the same thing but it didn't end so well. I got my hands on 1 T80 and thats all. There were 3 of us left so I went to our base where I took care of the BMP and T72 without damaging the T80 and I ditched the T80 since the Tasmanian Devil said tanks were coming *strong*. I didn't want to take the chance of having to start the mission over again and hiked on foot to the end of the mission.

I'm having kind of the same problem right now. It's same mission but different problem. To fire right away, you can use manual fire. Just make the gunner aim at the target and then you can fire when your ready. That saves alot of time but doesn't totally fix it. I've saved it to a point where somehow they know that I'm attacking and the their crew have got in the tanks, therefore all of the tanks are operation which has to be like 5-10 tanks ranging from BMP's to T72's. The first time I got into a position to attack the town, I had lost a T55 and the remaining was damaged. I ditched the T55 and first went to scout the town. There was T72 patrolling and infantry but the tanks were all sitting there without anyone in there. I hadn't had much trouble with this game since the last mission where you have to steal the tanks. (By the way the Tasmanian Devil guy is getting on my nerves and I don't trust him at all). That mission ended up with having stolen one T80 in perfect shape, which I ditched because I didn't want to risk us being killed again. I'm playing this on Veteran mode by the way, which one are you using?

America's Army came out so I downloaded it to make the waiting go faster. The program wants to unzip in C though and there's no option to change the drive, I was working for hours to get more space on C but haven't been able to get enough. I got to wait the hard way again... .
