10 years gone by already ? Bring another 10 more :p Thank you BIS, there's no other developer like you. P.S. You might have wished OFP good bye but you won't get rid of Guba so easily :D

    Merry Festivus

    Merry Xmas to you all!
  5. Click me (Only if you are 18 or older) Ehm... English or continental refereeing would surely have agreed to award a red one for this kung fu master piece. With a whole game to play such event could have changed the course of things. I bet it would have given Spain a better chance to display their usual "tiqui-taca" :j:
  6. "DANI JARQUE SIEMPRE CON NOSOTROS" which translates to "DANI JARQUE ALWAYS WITH US.": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Jarque
  7. Terve! Just thought I'd write a quick post to congratulate you for your good work. I've had so much fun with your mod since the first OFP release! I'm eagerly waiting for the Arma 2 release.
  8. You'll notice a Go for the HD4890 and overclock your CPU a bit Fox (you can find plenty of guides on the net for doing that easily, minimizing the risk to your system). You should be able to play the game smoothly with high settings and save yourself quite a lot of money. I went from a 8800GS 320MB to a HD4890 and the difference in performance was abismal. And my CPU is slower than yours (C2D 6400 @ 2.6Mhz).

  11. then monitor turns black and then it errors me with message saying <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">Error compiling pixel shader PSAlphaOnlyMod then i click ok and i watch my beautiful desktop. ok update i made Arma work again by not running the freedom fighters addon and the new zombie mod.. Commando I've experienced this error message before. I recon you might have a sintax error in the parameters of your game shortcut. Could it be a ";" after the last mod folder? For example -mod=beta;fdfmod; instead of -mod=beta;fdfmod

    Disappointed?

Welcome orb! If you ask me I would definately say go for it! But the wisest thing you can do is try the demo and see if you like it or not. You can download it here. Cheers.

    Public Beta Patch 1.07.5154

Hi guys, Unfortunately I'm also geting the LOD and texture flickering problem after the update, which I had experienced in rare ocasions until now. You can check the hardware I'm using at my signature, game is a german boxed version running on Windows XP SP2 The game settings I use are "left column on low and right column on high" at 1024 x 768 32bit and 85hz. I tried changing the settings (textures, post-processing, AA, AF) and resolution (1028x1024, 1200x1600) but I still experienced the problem. I also tried diferent drivers (158.19 & 97.92) A few things I noticed: - In Ramady the LOD and texture problem takes longer to hapen than in Sahrany after loading an editor preview with a few units. - After pressing the ESC button during a mission the game takes a long time to show the menu (it shows receiving...). If I press ALT+TAB twice the menu apears. While this happens hardrive activity is very high. - Pressing ALT+TAB twice sometimes removes the LOD & texture problem completely (although it apears again later), sometimes partially (text and some textures are not rendered correctly) and sometimes it doesn't load the game again (I can hear the menu buttons when I move the mouse but still see Windows desktop). - Textures seem to be quite dark and colors strange (like it hapened to me once after forcing the color depth to 16 by editing the settings file) - Vegetation seems to cause significant FPS impact when shading set to Normal Please let me know if you need any other information or there's anything you need me to test.
