Isn't it obvious? At least one spesific client side addon/mod causes this. Just need to find out which one.
-
Just for the record...Signature checks on, only FDF_Sounds allowed and not a single crash in 24 hours. We had around 10 players during the early evening and then we played one whole mission of warfare and had constantly >20 (IIRC almost 5 hours) players. I'll buy a virtual beer to the person who pinpoints the mod/addon causing all these problems...

Just wondering if it would be possible to coordinate a test to try to solve this issue? All we need is a server and ~30 players willing to help a bit. We could test different scenarios: No mods at all+warfare32, all mods people can think of etc. What do you think?

We've been running ours without any mods on the server and yet we get frequent crashes.

I can confirm that linux version is a bit unstable too. 1.09b (windows) was more stable than 1.12b.

And your server gets IP (and other network settings) from the router? If you check it with 'ipconfig' it shows something like 192.168.x.y or 10.0.x.y?
-
What IP your server has? Just curious if it really is behind NAT.
-
Actually it is not about dedicated vs non-dedicated servers. It's about servers being behind NAT. Dedicated server can be behind NAT too (like our server is). Bad thing is that I can't make the server use public IP. I'm pretty sure this will be addressed in the next version.

I certainly hope a quick fix too. It is a real showstopper for us.

I'm pretty sure I had all files lowercase. And yes, same happened when running the server in bare metal. Actually in two machines (debian 3.1 and 4.0). Good news is that it works now. I don't know if it is the new server binary or the fact that I re-uploaded my game installation to the server. Or both...

Anyone having problems with changing missions as admin? 1) log in as admin - #login <adminpw> 2) #missions 3) server crashes This has happened with every linux version so far I have Debian 4.0 running in VMWare server 1.0.4 (had 1.0.3)
