Hail AHHHH I crashed today in Max Payne, and It was a Memory Dump. This leads me to two things with my small experience, bad memory (like Avon Mom said before) or bad drivers with Chipset and bios. I am getting a stick next week, so I can test memory next week. Argh, the joys of computers... I will update you as my journey enfolds regards F

I had another play with it this morning, I disconnected the storage drives and just used my main drive C. It still froze and locked. *sigh* I felt the hard drive and it did feel quite hot, Ill get another fan and put it on the hard drive, I also have an old heatsink for HD's Ill put that on. See if that makes a difference, recently the sound drivers been playing up big time. Next week, wednesday sometime a friend of mine is coming over. An Overclocking master and his computer specs blow ANYONEs away, he spent about 5 grand on his computer.. madness but hey.. he should be able to help any heat issues! (hes bring over his old and spare parts) Apart from that encouraging news from my friend. I'm still stuck! Any help, still appriciated. Regards F

CPU Dust - checked that when I cleaned it out hard drive heat - testing in about 20 mins! chipset drivers ... hrm I downloaded the files placebo said, which were the latest chipset drivers. *shrug* ta Cables seem okay. Ah hrm, well I guess I got to wait and I have no spare card lying about, nae. I could nick my sisters card, but thats just mean... GForce. Ive emailed PowerColor (ATI Distributer) a complaint about the card. We will see what happens. Regards F

I already have a couple of days ago I hope they give support good enough to fix it! I wonder if its Radeon cards, or the ATI Card conflicting with the NForce Chipset? Is it VIA? Im not sure... I just typed in Radeon 9600 Pro Freezing in google and went to Hardware Analysis and WOW 10k replies to a post there bascially talking about the problem I have. I will go out and buy a new card when I can. So on that regard.. anyone suggest an ideal GFX card? regards Farske EDIT: ITs going to be a couple of weeks until I have enough cash to get a GFX card, and if I can get OFP to work with this GFX Card id love it!! So please, any other ideas?

Hi later on im going to disconnect my two HardDrives that are used for storage and put in my old SoundBlaster 16 Card ( I have those drivers) THEN we will see if it works, ever since I updated my sound my sound is all crackly and crashes... *mutters* stupid onboard sound!! thanks so far and Ill be back later on (going out) regards Farske
