C4P741N Â or SEAL84 think about it, if you make a single weapon pack that should be made with very hight cuality models... well, why make a MAAM or JAM magazine standard ? (the objective of this one is to share your ammo with your partner so both of you could use your favorite M4 or AK74 model, at least is how I understand it) Just take one of the great weapons pack out there (like INQ,HK...) and update him(with authors permision of course). But, .... how many weapons do you want to include in the weapon pack? because there are a lot of diferent models from M4 to AK74 , HK and his variants... this could finish with a 100 mb file at least... -> MAAMW (mutually acepted ammo & magazines & weapons) Noo, and I don't want to know nothing about update this 100mb file (poor 56kb guys) Like cornhelium said, "One of the great things about JAM is that it has a very small footprint memory wise". Addon makers could make his own weapons for his soldiers or use any of the great packs out there, better if they are JAM or MAAM compatible. You can always replace his weapon in the editor On the other hand, update this packs to made it JAM or MAAM compatible will be also great. (I'm thinking in hk_pack and INQ_pack that uses his own ammo config). Excuse for my english Â

If units require JAM2, you could not delete jam pbos because this units use JAM2, not MAAM , even if they are relesed after MAAM. Unless the addon maker config the weapons to use MAAM, but if requires JAM2, you need JAM pbos If you want to use a unit with MAAM you have to reconfig his weapons to use MAAM. I can be patient I still waiting ofp2 and ECP 1.075 and didn't get crazy . I back to see the date of the first MAAM post (old thread) and I see was only from a couple of days before (6 - feb). but has 137 post . I lost the time sense? (don't know if I wrote it right) My apologise.

I read this topic, and the other one from avonlady, and I still thinking in the main problem.. No weapons are configured to used MAAM, and I don't think people is gonna change the JAM tag from every weapon pack they have, -> unpbo the weapons, reconfig and repbo. just To much work. (moders can always make an update config file, but I think they will not) And if done... what would happen to mp games? same weapon (e.g. INQ_M4) but one client uses MAAM and the other one still ussing the original ammo config ? I'm not pretty sure if this will work. I think that would be great if people from BAS let you update JAM up to this version of MAAM. And what about creating a JAM studio that could be supervised from a BAS member ? so this member only have to check the new JAM version and give his ok. I thinking I going a bit off-topic.. sorry. This work is great anyway.. but i feel like watching a great alternative to use a clean energy in the cars, but someone with all the power saying a big NO to this clean energy.

But can also say in the readme something like.. "...after wait xxxx weeks without an answer from the authors I decided to release the addon...." just wait a prudential time. You have tried to ask for permision, and given credits to his authors. When I released the fixed woodland and des_west humvees I didn't have an answer from Galtcom... and I still waiting.. but I give him credits (and the rest of the authors) and nobody get pissed (at least I don't know of any). Of course is better to has permisions ( I would like to had Galtcom's) But this is only a suggestion. If you want to have a clear conscience, better wait. Flaber

yes... they are. If you use HMMWV class, you need to include in required addons the resistance, or the addon could have strange behaviour.If you don't belive me try playing a mission with an intro. Anyway, it's very easy to fix this little problem (one cpp line) and it's a very good addon Flaber.

I have problems with some missions when intros are played, so as I had the same problem with my desert and woodland humvee pack, I have reviewed your config.cpp and I have found this: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> ... class HMMWV: Jeep {}; class wood_hmmwv_c: HMMWV ... If you inherit from HMMWV somehow give some problems. When I was fixing the humvees Rudedog told me the same I'm going to told you now. So I recommended you to make the same change and leave the config.cpp in that way: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> class wood_hmmwv_c: Jeep or add this line to the config (Required addons) so doesn't have problems with the inherit. It's a problem of the addon, has a bad config, I had the same problem with the desert and woodland humvees before I fixed them. This error, can sometimes make the mission doesn't load at all. Remove the addon to see the intro.

Last time I've asked him for permision I wrote him an email sending him a picture of his work and mine, so he knows what I was talking about, (First time didn't had an answer).and he give me permision If you speak CZ, better write in this languaje, or look for someone who can, sure in this forum will be a lot of people who will help you.

I think there are some plugins in 3d studio max that let you save the model as p3d, not pretty sure. p3d is the format used in 02 modelling program. Anyway, it's not dificult to learn o2. I give you a link to a web with very useful tutorials of how to install and start ussing 02. http://ofp.info/brsseb/ It's the same that people from this forum give me time ago, and this web help me a lot. Hello hmmwv, nice to see that someone is working on the vamtac's. You were right, the UCE clan was working on spanish addons, but seems to be used as a call to be part of the clan. (until mod finished, IIRC) If you need help, as @cero says I'm spanish and I have been work with Bobcatt and BlackDeath in the humvees for the last year. I usually do the cpp part, so if you need to see your models in the game, and don't know how, pm me and i will help you.
