In one of his interviews during the elections Putin was asked whether he wanted to be the president for the third time (meaning his office would overall be 12 years). He answered that you could go nuts if you served such a long term. In the Russian constitution it is said that one and the same man can't be a president for more than 2 terms one after another. He's serving his second term right now. The Kremlin can offer another person (just like Yeltsin introduced Putin to the public) who will follow the same policy. But if Putin wants to serve for the third time he can easily do that   Our Constitution Court (or however it's called) comments on different issues concerning constitution. And in fact these commentaries override the power of the constitution and you have to follow them. Putin just needs to influence the judges of this court somehow.

I've tried the mod with 1.94 and 1.96.

I have a question about sounds. In fact i don't have them   When i launch the game with y2k3 mod i don't hear any sounds (including the sound when you push buttons in the menu). When i launch the game without this mod i hear all the sounds. I also tried using ECP separately and i get all the sounds there. Of course i've checked the Audio Options in the game  I've downloaded your Full Pack. Sorry i didn't browse all the pages in this thread. If the question had been answered already tell me so and accept my apologies Â

I don't know exactly about the sound thing but you should try using Adobe Media Encoder when exporting your movies. BBSmith, GO TO File,Export, Adobe Media Encoder There are lots of codecs. Experiment and you'll get the desired result. You can change different options in those codecs (including the quality of the sound).

Wait wait, i think i get it. The Russians are invading a Chinese island but the Chinese army has nothing to do with it. Uum but why? If it the Chinese territory and it's getting captured by the Russian rebel forces then the Chinese government can send forces to the island in order to deal with the opposing force. But of course if the Russian troops are there to cultivate crops only then it's ok... Wait, maybe the Russians want to immigrate to China? But why would they need all those weapons then? Interesting how Kozlov wants to keep his presence on the island in a secret and at the same time dozens of ships and choppers head to the island. I see Kozlov is an expert in covert operations   And in the end of campaign a million-men army of China lands on the island secretly... Just kidding. Yeah, that's why everyone says that communism helped restore the economy in the USSR after the war. If it hadn't been in an awfull condition then why would they have to restore it? Besides millions of people lost (less workers), all the main factories in the western part of the USSR destroyed (those which couldn't be moved to the eastern part), etc. Doesn't sound to me like a profit. The country which realy benefited from this war was the USA. I'm not trying to push at America as some of the forum members may say. But the war nearly ended the unemployment in the USA and more and more factories were opening. Of course it wasn't the war only which helped the country to gain its power, Roosevelt had been doing everything to restore the economy after the Great Depression. And we must not forget those who died in the war on the battlefield fighting for freedom in Europe. Perhaps i'm wrong but there has appeared a tendency lately that some German and Finnish and other people of the new generation know facts about the cruelty of some Russian soldiers. They know that their German ancestors did something bad in WW2 but still they find it pleasing to push at the Russian soldiers. Those kids cannot be blamed for what happened in WW 2 of course, it is not their fault. But how come do they start saying bad things only about the Russians when millions have died to free peoples of different nationalities including freeing Germany from the nazi regime? With such tendencies i can only imagine what people will be saying about WW2 in 100 years. Think about Russian, American, Polish, British, etc soldiers who died there.
