</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote (Frisbee @ Nov. 08 2002,00:42)</td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">AMRAAM's? On a STRIKE eagle? Sure it can equip em but that's not the point,if you want realism : strike eagle (F15E): ground attack normal eagle (F15C) : air to air In a real conflict strike eagles would be too busy to bomb the crap out of everything to consider their alternative capability. (Hey,they were too busy to use their LANTIRN for the british tornado's in the gulf ) nofi (Edit : Oh,and it looks great so far, though the pics i saw were a bit darker, but the were small, low quality ,so don't bother to listen )<span id='postcolor'> Thats not true Frisbees the F-15E does carry the Amraam Aim-120 and theres a fighter squadron that does use the F-15E the F-15E isnt just a ground attack its a Strike Fighter now ask yourself does the F-18 have air to air missles does the F-16 have air to airs Think before you make stupid comments

The F-22 is the most advanced Fighter to date notice I said fighter and it might have been Redesignated the F/A-22 its a Purebread fighter through and through ITs engines provide a Supercruise of 1.5 the Mig-35 didnt come close to that mark it has the First production fighter with CTV(combat Thrust Vectoring) and a thrust to weight ratio of 2. something In addition it has good lowspeed Handling it can stay aloft at under 100 MPH and manuver well which meens tighter turns but still like any plane at low speeds is sort of sluggish Next is its stealth and Radar The F-22 is stealth which can only be detected at close ranges *those Radars i have heard that said they could detect it Ive never seen a single document about it* the Radar has a Range of 80+NM this is real hard for me to summarize all of this into one message so much stuff the body of the F-22 is a very aerodynamical Shape thanks to the Continuous Curvature Stealth technique which lends itself to aerodynamics The F-22s Armament will consist of the current AIM missles in the USAF inventory as well as new Missles such as the Aim-9X missle which has a rotating seeker head of 90+ degrees and thrust vectoring control like the russian archer but... unlike the Archer the Aim-9 is not as heavy nor as bulky as the Archer and can turn tighter and isnt as "stupid" as the archer and it more than likely will be able to use the newer Stealthy munitions to preserve Stealtiness while under wing pylons more than likely Planned prior to the ATF and JSF projects were called for the AOA currently released to the public is 60+ degrees and roll the Avionics and link ups for the F-22 are newer and more reliable than the previous so called data links the F-22 can link up into another aircraft like another F-22 and use its systems like radar etc etc it has an All glass cockpit no steam gauges or Dials and uses the HOTAS system so the pilot never needs to take his hands off the Stick and throttle when comparing to other newer fighters coming int service EFT Su-35 J-10 Etc the F-22 would leave the fighters in the dust and this even includes your beloved Su-37 which isnt going into service and as i heard someone stating that it had Rear launching missles which it doesnt the physics of doing such a thing just doesnt work and the Mig-35 nah eh it doesnt cut the mustard ill update this when my head cools off from trying to summarize the F-22 which is almost impossible
