Are you sure that you know how much is one ingame meter? Or maybe the bridge is just standing on a high bump below the water!

I don't know wether anyone noticed, but the AI in 1.85 has a lot of trouble followin the wp's correctly (in complicated scripts). In 1.75 they do everything well, but in 1.85 they screw up completely... Â

I just installed the new patch and... the game got screwed! There's lots of stuff missing (files and images, and so on), but most important THE GAME SAYS THAT I DO NOT HAVE RESISTANCE!!! Therefore any Resistance addon doesn't work. How about Bis TESTS their patches first???

Ok. I want a car to move to a waypoint when a variable in another waypoint is set to true. I do the following: In the Condition field of the car's waypoint I type in "moveone" In the activation field of the other waypoint (a different car's) I type in "moveone = true" In the exec field of the player I type in "moveone = false" The car moves to the waypoint at the start anyway... what's wrong?

While the models are not done yet, I started to make the maps. The mod should be out in the first part of 2003 (earlier if some ppl help me with the models)

I am really not concetrating on the game's story. I just skip it... In my version of the story, the team finds MacReady and flys offf since there is nothing left to invistigate.

Well, actually someone did make a good night vision scope! It wasn't even similar to the NV gogles!

Oh, and it will not be a remake of the original game. This mod will take place on a small island near Russia... it happens AFTER the rescue team arrived! You will see what happened to the main characters... (i.e. MacReady will be in the mod!

Well, I gotta get to work then... The head of the "human" (the one at the end of the movie, with it's jaws on the top of the head) thing is almost finished. I would need only someone who knows which parts of the monster do separetly (i.e. head, arms) and then connect them (how do you connect the body parts anyway?).

As I asked for help with models from The Thing, no one wanted to help me. Therefore I decided to make my own model. After learing the basics of O2, I am currently working on the monster... You should see the mod in about 3-4 months... And if anyone IS interseted in helping me out, then please e-mail me... PS. For more info about the movie, visit this site.

None the less, if you intend to make characters from the Thing you should also check out some of the characters from the game, such as the GenInc soldiers.<span id='postcolor'> Hmmm, I will take a look at them.
