How can I tell if im using SLI?
Flackjacket replied to Flackjacket's topic in ARMA - TROUBLESHOOTING
Thank you SWAT_BigBear. Thats what i was looking for. I didnt know that was up there. Flack OK I have the green bar now. While ingame I have a small sliver of green or nothing, when I hit escape to exit I have all kinds of SLI going on. How exactly do I use this FEAR profile to make ArmA use both cards? -

I made the Description.ext using notepad and changed the extision to .ext. Will this work? I think thats how I did it in Flashpoint. Anyway heres the next problem I go to C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\Missions.... There are two folders in there :Scripts and tutorials. All the other files are the missions weve made and the ones that came with the game but they are all .pbo files not folders to add the .ext to. Any Idea what im doing wrong? Thanks for the help Flack -

My son and I have made a few missions that we are running together on a LAN. We'd like to be able to respawn after we get slaughtered. I used to know how to do this in Flashpoint but its been awhile. Thanks Flack

AI pilots flying into mountains.
Flackjacket replied to Flackjacket's topic in ARMA - TROUBLESHOOTING
Im not sure if it does it with the new patch. Just installed it. It happens in Single player missions that I have created. I use the choppers to shuttle my guys around to different points to take out assorted targets then load them up and move them somewhere else... Its a drag after playing for a couple of hours with your squad, batteling it out and surviving with just a few squad members being killed... then flying into a mountain. Happens often. Machine specs should not be a problem: EVGA mobo 2 EVGA 8800 gts SLI oc'ed Intel core 2.. 2.4 OC'ed to 3.3 4 gig o ram Creative Xfi sound Vista 32 home Prem -
Maybe they,re just unhappy, had a bad childhood, combat fatigue. Who knows. Is there a way to get these guys to take your squad through mountainous areas without flying in to the side of a mountain? I have the pilot set to safe combat mode.Seems to make no difference what the mode is set too. Also while in vehicles they drive off bridges.
