  1. you are waitng the tanoa expansion for your mod? the vegetation is perfect

    Both yes and no on that question. Yes will be very nice to have their new vegetation to make epic jungle.

    But also no as we have our own custom vegetation made by the great 3D-artist Lodu. So we can still make epic jungle island for HIPA3 and that is what I have done.

    We will soon show more info & media in a new BIS forum post in A3 section. So keep your eyes ready for some HIPA3 news soon.

    But will still looking for a skilled 3D-Artist to help us out with the mod. We have no 3D-artist in our small mod team at the moment and need one really bad.

  2. Any one know how to get the ponds to show up ingame?

     

    This what I done:
     

    * Place dbo_Ponds unbinarizd in P: Drive

    * Placed one pond in Terrain Builder and it looks fine in Buldozer.

    * Placed dbo_Ponds.PBO in my modfolder same as my island is in.

    I start the game and the pond dont show up ingame on my island!
    Help please.


  3. Gentelmen this solved my problem, buldozer is now working fine:

     

    Let’s check if it succeeded, at this step, you should have a working P: Drive containing:

    “p:\A3\†“p:\Bin\†“p:\Core\†“p:\Buldozer.exe†“p:\ PhysX3*.dll†(4 files) “p:\steam_api.dll†“p:\steam_appid.txtâ€

     

    Or you can also use an alternate method

    • Copy the executable of the game “Arma3.exe†to P and rename it to “buldozer.exeâ€
    • Use BankRev -f to extract bin.pbo of the game into P:\Bin
    • Use BankRev -f to extract core.pbo of the game into P:\Core
    • Copy converted \A3\Data_F\halfa.paa to P:\A3\Data_F\halfa.paa (this file available in the directory “Samples_F\Data_Fâ€
    • Copy every “PhysX3*.dll†from the Arma 3 directory to P:\
    • Copy Steam_api.dll and steam_appid.txt to P:\

  4. Buldozer does not start any more after I just updated Mikeros tools.

    I try to run terrain builder as administrator straight from the P:\ drive. But did not work.

    Got this error message on start up of Terrain Builder:

    Buldozer may not work: Wrong or missing " Steam_appid.txt "

     

    Buldozer may not work: Missing file(s): bin\config.bin,


    I had no problem what so ever with starting buldozer before I updated Mikeros Tools.
    Help please!

     


  5. Melee? Bayonet & buttstroke ..., or will we still need to reload while face to face with the enemy?

     

    Jungle will draw us into melee, and arma needs this option --long overdue.

    This is somthing our mod Hell in the pacific Arma 3 really would like to have!!

    We have both rifles with bayonets & Japanse Officer Katana Sword.

    Even making stealth missions with knife take down would be nice deep in the Jungle.

    Classic Bayonet banzai charge in jungle any one?

    Some one mentioned other melee mods or hand to hand combat? Anything that works in multiplayer?

    PM me please with Information about melee for A3 that maby our Hell in the pacific mod could use.

    About Tanao, I hope they have some caves, rivers, waterfalls, hidden logjungle bunkers?

    Maby a Dr.Evil cave in the Vulcano?

  6. Its impossible for the arma 3 engine to handle tracked amphibious vehicles (who would even think of that in a milsim anyway) , i assume its too complicated for the devs to come up with a solution, it probably requires some really smart and handsome people to fix this. :)

     

    Correct me if Im wrong. But what I have heard so are they working on getting Tracked amphibious vehicles working in Arma 3.

    Upcoming DLC Tanao.

    Hello! We're looking for a talented 3D artist/animator to join our mod team.

    also if you have other talented A3-modding skills?

    We are making this mod for ArmA 3 and we have made very good progress, but we need help. We are at this moment a very small team.

    Just send a PM if you intressed to help us make this mod for Arma 3.


  8. The Banzai charge would be very epic and fun to have in HIP-A3, I agree.

    We had working melee with bayonet on rifle in HIP-A2 in pvp and some co-op too.

    Unfortunately at this moment we have not yet looked into how to get melee working for Arma 3 yet.

    We have the rifle with bayonet and also japanese officers katana sword. Yes we would love to see melee in HIP-A3 but we are not there yet at this point.

    I think I mention before that we are a very small team and overloaded with stuff on our to do list for HIP-A3. So at this point I can not give any anwsers about melee in HIP-A3.
