  1. Suggestion, please try to do some more advertising for the mod ( new releases).
    Why?

     

    There is today when I check the few servers that´s up it got only 2 players.

    I been checking the servers this week and I seen maximum 10 - 12 players all together.

    Have in mind I dont count in the 7th Air Cav servers as their server run addons basic players dont have and then cant join without them. (22 ply) yesterday.


    Problem is that Arma 3 has become a RPG game with Altis life and Exile servers taking over the entier game.
    with 1000 players. Its has become a RPG-Simulator. Well that is great if you love that kind of game play.
    But for the other players that dont?

    I know it is very hard for any mod team, more of impossible to try to advertise the mod you made. ( I know) to get more players.

    Maby we all together as a ARMA community can try to spread the word of this great mod to get more and new players into this mod?

    If I mention ARMA 3 for friends and others I talk to they always reply  " Altis Life " or " Exile".
    Thas says alot what Arma 3 has become.


  2. What about melee?
    Arma 3 cant handle melee in any good way what I know.
    The melee I seen in arma made by mods or even " dayz" is not very smoot and feels very bad.

    Could some one please prove me wrong?
    Specielly BIS-game Studios, give us smoot epic melee for arma 3 please?

    Sword, knife, bayonet etc...

    I would recomend you use Unreal 4 or Unity.

  3. For the King of the hill Iron Front A3 this is needed to improve the game play:

    1. Turn off auto target computer for planes.
    Dont know if this is a server setting or a mission setting?
    Worst of all, if it is a A3 setting that can never be turned off?
    This destroying the entier game play as planes just auto target and know where every targets is. Its basicly wallhack + aimbot.
    Does not work in a 1944 WW2 enviorment and is breaking the game play very very badly!!
    Pilots dont need to spot any target, just press a key and you got auto target.

    2. Replace the tower in center of the objective with Iron Front world war 2 defensive objective head quater.

    3. If not target computer can be turned off for planes.
    Add a delay timer for planes to be bought at begining of the round.
    So pilots dont spawn rape the other team before game not even started.

  4. How many world war 2 mods for ARMA 3 do we got now?

    If you guys not merge with another ww2 mod for arma 3 I would like to give you guys a suggestion to maby focus on the ww2 north africa campaign.
    Nobody have done it or no one is working on it. And with desert maps/islands players will get very good FPS :)

  5. Yet another problem with Native Indians combat is:

    * Bows

    * Tomahawks/knife/spear melee

    * horse

    Sure they should also have muskets.

     

    And dont forget the horrible option if you play as Indian to take scapls of fallen enemys or wounded ;)

    My self I acctully have a similary idea like this one you working on now.

    My own idea is "Conquistadors 1492 " discover new land, with the new Arma 3 Jungle vegetation soon in our hands it could be intressting.
    Simple surviva game aspect,trade, simple weapons like spanish arquebus,crossbow,bow, basic melee weapons.

    Problem is that Arma would not handle this idea very well I think.

    Unity 5 & Unreal 4 would.

    And again I cant make a game/mod all by my self. I would need a team :)

     

     

    But the biggst problem that really I want is working melee in Arma. For example our Hell in the pacific A3 mod need working melee for bayonet and katana sword attacks.

    But Arma where never made with Melee in mind so its a huge problem.
    I mean Arma is Arma, that´it.


  6. Im always a sucker for historic games so this I want now! :)

    My personal opinion is that you should make this mod/game for Unity5 or Unreal 4 engine insted of Arma.

    Why...?

    For example how you going to use cavalry/horse or melee combat somthing arma do not support at all.

     

     

    * Maby add some trading rpg/survival aspect into this?

     

    * Add Native Indians?

     

    How many working on this mod?

  7. mp missions will be awesome!  a sector control on tarawa ............

    edit.... for the rest of maps, you will wait Tanoa expansion?

     

    For very dense and heavy Jungle island like GuadalCanal we think it is best to wait for the Tanoa expansion and then use the the new vegetation objects that comes with Tanoa.

    I hope I can finish the Iwo Jima island and release it together with Betio Tarawa island in the first release of HIPA3.

    But it depends, we are still a very small team and looking for skilled 3D-artist and other skilled moders that could help bring this mod to a epic first release that the A3-community will enjoy.


  8. I can't wait! I've seen some models on deviantart and you guys have some great quality weapons! Is there an expected date of release yet?

     

    EDIT: I have a small collection of WWII memorabilia and rifles, such as M1903A3, USMC Pith Helmet, some US web gear, and Type 99 Arisaka. I could take some references pictures if needed!

    The M1903A3, US web gear, Type 99 Arisaka we already got in game except the USMC Pith Helmet but we have and use the British version of pith helmet.

    The mod is done when it is done, we have not set any release date yet.

    But we will keep you all posted with news and media this month/weeks and upcoming months/weeks.
