Just downloaded it. Â Hope to play it tonite or this weekend and I'll let you know. Came across this on Col Arma site. Nice web site also. Â I see it is one of T3 designs. Â Any chance I could get some help in implementing one of their skins to my site? Appreciate all you guys have and are doing for the gaming community. Â Keep up the good work! First of all Hi to everyone. Â I just made the switch over from good old Op Flash to ArmA. Â My question is how do I stop the games intro/splash screens. Â Years ago I remember doing something in op flash to get rid of the games starting screens but due to old age and poor memory cannot remember the command. Â I performed a search and looked in the FAQ but had no luck. Â Would appreciate the help. Thanks in advance. Express

When I open shortcut to ArmA this is what is in the target field. "C:\Program Files\Atari\ArmA\arma.exe" When I attempt to add -nosplash on the end, I get an error message saying not valid. What am I doing wrong?

Players view locked on entry

Perhaps I should have said I use a script to run a cutscene at the beginning of a mp mission. Alot of MP missions anymore have a cutscene on entry into the game. Â I understand what you are talking about for SP vs MP , however, I am not referring to the "editor intro". -
Hi all. I have looked for a long time trying to find an answer but to no avail. Â The problem is this. Â The last 2 missions I have created both have caused the players view to be "stuck" upon entry to the game. Â The only difference with these last 2 missions is I have used "intro" cutscenes to begin them. Â Immediately after the cutscene has ended, the player is then in control. Â But now, their view is stuck and they must tap either the ~,*, num lock, or backspace key to free their view. Â I have built 20-30 missions and this is the first time this has occurred. Â All missions are MP coops. Â I have been using "proven" scripts in the .init for the cutscenes. Â If anyone has a solution to this I'd be very gratefull. Thanks in advance. Express ~S~

Hi South! I just got done re-reading this tutorial on exactly what you are looking for.  It worked great for me and was a well written tuturial.  It also explains what additional programs you need to have and where to get them. Salute to all! I am back building missions after a 2 year hiatus from the game. Â Both my long term and short term memory have obviously become more impaired due to aging. What I need help with is the following. Â I am making an intro that utilizes "human" voices in a 3 character dialogue. Â I have the sounds converted and are working properly. Â The problem I have is that I am doing this all with triggers with each one set at a different delay in order to get the timing correct. Â This does work but on 2 of the dialogues, the assigned sound gets repeated. Â I have them set to one time only, NOT repeated but they still repeat the sound. Also, instead of using umpteen triggers for this cutscene, is there a way that I could use a "script" to call for each of the characters to speak when it is their time to do so? I also am relearning the camera.sqs to use instead of the editor camera views. Â Is there a way to incorporate my dialogue thru this? Hope this isn't to confusing but I have had only one cup of coffee so far this am. Thanks in advance. Express

Do you by any chance have those triggers on repeating? Or maybe the coundition of the trigger is repeating or something.
