WWIIEC releases a SP missionpack for LIB41
Extremeus Decimus replied to SengirVampireWW2EC's topic in USER MISSIONS
Wow! i just tried a few of these missions and the atmosphere and ambience was outstanding!, Mud and Blood is my favourite thus far hearing those distant shouts and then screams as bullets are flying around really added to a immersive experiance! as Xawery said, these are most definately the best WW2 missons yet!. -

Is he...... Here? good luck with the mod and development process.

Graphical User Interface lol Anyway, back on topic. yeah good idea that these animations could be used in cutscenes and intro sequences to show the 'brighter' side of OFP's gritty mass explodey warfare simulation we've all come to know and love.

Having just played a 40 minute game with a friend, i can say this game for me at least is a definite purchase (Note, the 300mb demo, not the 1gb version). the reasons why Individual AI Well i wasn't expecting the best, but what i found was impressive, each soldier used to the best of his ability cover, and trying to hide, one instance i ordered them to fire, so he leaned to the side whilst crouching and began firing through a fence (the ones with bars, not a steel plate or anything) automatically. another instance when i ordered my men to assault a building, instead of going the long way around, he took it upon himself to climb over the fence. Another instance whilst in the defence of a high rise building (most likely flats) an spetsnaz operative snuck upstairs but i had a single soldier on sentry, he then proceeded to run around the corner and him and the spetsnaz operative had a fire fight as each soldier popped out of the corner to hastily fire and quickly retreat behind cover again (was a strafing style manouver). Detail The world environment is well done and varied the textures are quite high resolution and are detailed, the environments themselves vary all within the same map, from destroyed buildings to blown out rail yards with debris and craters dotted about with tree's and foilage for stealthy tactics, and on occasion the odd destroyed car or two. Ballistics Referring to the infantryman who took it upon himself to climb over the fence, he eventually reached his target in the house, fired a burst into the enemy's head, but i noticed upon closer inspection that a round deflected upwards from the enemy's reinforced kevlar helmet and struck the cieling, the other two however were fatal (he was using a H&K G36) Physics I noticed that when soldiers die ragdoll or at least a version of kicks in as one of my men was shot in the chest, and as he fell down a series of steps his body moved and twisted appropriately

I was just wondering if anybody can help me?, i know how to create a basic uniform with the all the details (dirt, colour variations wrinkles etc), but i'm unsure how to create a realistic camo pattern from scratch?..i'd prefer not to have one of these "Filter sponge.." one's as there's plenty out there and they do not particularlly look very good. Thanks for any help Decimus

I believe he means something similar to DIB, where the bridge dynamically collapses and the bits and pieces fall off instead of crumpling as they do now.

I do believe that ECP and CoC aren't compatiable because one overrides the others onmapclick settings or something?, hey i'm no scripting expert, but have you tried default OFP whilst running it and encountered a similar problem?

Mapfact.net releases DAC
Extremeus Decimus replied to BadAss -Mapfact.net-'s topic in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Perhaps there is not enough space in the designated area so it's unable to create the camp?, don't take my word for it however!. Also as a testiment to how easy and flexiable this system is I created a 'Pilot down' mission on cat afghan had plenty of zones with muhadjeen fighters all over the place searching for the pilot, and there is a rescue team sent in to save the poor pilot!, let's just say the following was tense , but after that it was simple and easy to expand it further, i added a freindly force following pre-designated waypoints, so there was this huge dynamic battlespace happening with very little input from the user (me), it works fine over MP and keeps the game quite lag free!. Excellent work Silola and all others who contributed
