Extremely pretentious.

Put music, lasers and smoke together along with paying people to cheer in a dead crowd. People will believe anything. :p The only reason those solar panels are producing more energy than the cars are using is because nobody is using them, obviously. LOL.

New VR Headest actually looks viable for average gamers

The sound would have to turn with your head for a more immersive experience. -

I'd wait a few more years until a higher resolutions are available at affordable prices. This really isn't something new. http://store.sony.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&partNumber=HMZT1 Could just buy one of those and also stick a trackIR on your head along with it. Plus, that one also comes with surround sound headphones. I know it's not the same, but it could do a similar job. Also as noted, above that the Sony product has headphones. This oculus thing seriously needs headphones as well. -
Maybe there is still a niche in the market for them to make invincible phones.

To me, this just seems like a really simple things that BIS seemed to have messed up in the past. Having a eyes sticking out two feet in-front of your face (being zoomed in) can really be an immersion killer in my opinion. Immersion killer FPS killer Lower awareness, esp when no 3rd person Perspective on your aim lost (without cross-hair) Much harder to manoeuvres vehicles through tight spots Now, currently I use a setting of 1.2*defaultFOV and that gives me something much more enjoyable to play with and makes the game feel much better. YES, I know I can change the FOV manually, obviously, but most people don't know how and if it can be changed without mods. I find the default FOV horrible and a lot of people don't even realise it can be changed. Do I have to mention that you have to set the profile file to read only and alter the GUI scale too, if you want to keep that the same? Leave your thoughts on this. Vote on the poll. I hope I'm not alone on this. Older topics, how to change your FOV and such: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=83527 http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=94623

Upcoming tactical shooter from Blackfoot Studios: Ground Branch
Dead3yez replied to Tactical Jerky's topic in OFFTOPIC - Games & Gaming
Seems kinda stupid to me to make a kickstarter right after people have just forked out for that whatjoomicallit takedown thing. I don't know if people would be willing to part with their money after funding a very "similar" product so recently. -
I welcome the extinction of languages. I think it's of greater benefit to the whole planet if only a few "main" languages.

Not all surfaces are horizontal. :j: Place a glass on the edge of your table and push lightly against it at the side. You be the judge if there's enough friction to stop it from moving. -
I heard it's booming around this time of year.

No one wants to buy broken tanks ffs.

It's not that great. It looks like it only works if you have a surface to push the object against. -
Along with full body tracking etc, would be nice to have a gun which could also simulate some kind of recoil and vibration, come with a set of magazines too, so reload times would actually depend on the player.

It's real.

What games got you into tactical gaming?
Dead3yez replied to Sierra117's topic in OFFTOPIC - Games & Gaming
I like to play every game tactical. -
No particular order or importance. And just a few. My most used is probably winamp. Perfectdisk - It's just running, keeping my shit defragged. FL studio - Pretty cool to play around in when I'm bored. Winamp - Better than itunes and wmp. :) Vuze - Downloading things. Coretemp Speedfan - Good for checking on temperatures and regulating fan speeds / noise. superantispyware and malwarebytes. (free versions) - Generally just use a manual scan every now and again.
