Everyone who played to the ending and was like "WTF" (if you weren't like WTF, then clearly you didn't pay enough attention to anything) should watch this: It's about a theory that Shepard became indoctrinated, and it kind of makes sense. In short, it's saying the ending was a dream. Even if this were to be completely made up, this theory makes the story so much better than the real "ending".

Newton's third law: The mutual forces of action and reaction between two bodies are equal, opposite and collinear. Exactly same thing happens on upstroke and downstroke. You see, this is a really basic concept of physics that even a small child can understand. Say you're in a rowing boat and just move the paddles/oars (wing oarss if you must) backwards and forwards without taking them out of the water or twisting them... Nothing happens. Now, change the paddles to wings and change the water to air... What happens? edit: Tada! At 01:09 his body keeps disappearing like he is running 10 meter infront of the wing. ~100m / ~30s = 3.3m s^-1 or 12km h^-1 (rofl gliding that thing at 12kmph / 7.4mph) The wingspan in proportion to the man's body gets bigger as he moves further away. (incorectly resizing the cgi wings) ------ Also, an extra argument he does not have enough forward motion to be able to lift his legs up straight. The mass displacement would change the centre of gravity and cause the man to tilt upright without enough drag created to counter it. + don't forget the other thousand things already mentioned in this thread. And, I'd like to add to the fact that a hand glider takes ~25kph to glide, this design is much weaker with less wingspan, tension and surface area... For this to work i'd speculate that it'd take at least 50kph for it to even glide (assuming he has the correct aerodynamics), which he is clearly not achieving.

The dutchman's wings are far from being as advanced as a bat wing. If you apply a little bit of logic, you realise it's fake. The "power assistance" just looks way too dinky to handle the torque that would be required to move those arms that help power the wings. But, even if the assistance is strong enough, the lift is still cancelled out on the upstroke on the wing and once he is airbourne, his legs are off the ground and there is no longer any forward force. Not to mention the fact that this would have been done years ago, if it were even remotely possible.

I don't know about that. Blowing up half a mountain to lay down a fibre optic cable seems a little rash, to say the least.

I think ME3 should have brought the story to a closure. Though, I know that now they have the market, Bioware is undoubtedly thinking about or planned to milk the franchise as much as possible along with the planned movie. Possibilities I expect are an FPS/RTS on the Krogan rebellions and Rachni War. Though, Commander Shepard and the humans may be an invaluable marketing strength to lose.

Make the galaxy red or blue. Those are your ending choices. The two minute ending was horrible, I was like "wtf just happened"... And there was very little clues to speculate what would happen if there is to be yet another ME.

If any of you guys want to play the DLC without buying it: + parts 2,3,4,5,6 :p Despite the direction bioware / EA have taken the series. It is still very good. But, they are really really pushing it to the limit.... Another gripe of mine, with a new character at the beginning on insanity things were very tough which was good and also very distressful at certain points which is also probably a good thing, considering the chosen difficulty. However, as you level up, the drop down in difficulty becomes very large and the last missions become easier than some of the first ones where. Just to put things in perspective, I was able to complete the very last mission facing 4/5 brutes while being shot at by a reaper etc on my second attempt. I am thinking if it became this "easy" on insanity (w/ level 45-47) character in role-playing mode, then it really makes me wonder how challenging it must be on any difficulty that is lower.

Started up ArmA 2 OA, today for the first time in a while. Before deleting the .cfg and profiles I could only get the video memory to show LOW. Afterwards I'm stuck on normal. The only thing that really changed since I last player was an additional 4gb of RAM added (8gb total).

Personally I think they are attacking the human colonisations and Earth because they have the greatest threat against them (the alliance), but also because the need to start harvesting more ground troops (husks) to do their dirty work and maybe even complete a human reaper.

Yeah. But, I'll be waiting for a sale or for it to at least drop a little in price (plus that would give the opportunity to play the game after it's been patched a couple times). Only downside is that, I could be waiting a while since I only see the game available on origin.

What if it's the first planet they come across which has life on? :P

Personally think the vietnam version is much more powerful when you consider the different situations that the soldiers where put through.
