There is absolutely nothing else that needs to be changed more than the main menu backgrounds. The forced "cutscenes" behind the menu options do nothing but add considerable lag to the game. They're in no way or fashion even remotely interesting; a simple static image background would not only improve the situation performance-wise, but visually too. The whole -noworld thing is an extremely half-baked solution, as once you enter something and re-enter the main menu, the horrific cutscene backgrounds just pop back in.
Please remove these permanently.
