I have a Creative X-Fi soundcard and I can usually hear tanks maneuvering from miles away.. makes them sound like they're close when they're not. I wonder if this update corrects this? I am using onboard sound and that happens to me also.

Actually the shortcut that armademo creates does not contain any quotes in it. Where as my other shortcut icons on my desktop does.

Yes your card is below the minimum requirement. Your card is a Pixel shader 1.4 and the requirements are 2.0.
