Hi, wasn't really sure where to put this, the new driver is out and in the releasenotes mentions armed assault 2. * Up to 12% performance increase in ARMA 2 I've yet to test this as I don't have Arma2 installed at the moment, but perhaps someone could confirm they have seen any improvements?

Well I've eventually managed to sort it out. The problem was I had dud memory, replaced it with the ram in my other computer and hey presto. Fourth lot of naff ram from the company lol

Hi. I have 505 games armed assault and I cant update it on my new computer. I install the game - no problems, but when it comes to applying the update it says it finds problems in buildings.pbo plants.pbo etc. Ive uninstalled it, and tried again still the same problem. I reformatted and reinstalled windows xp - same. Ive reinstalled it on my other computer and applied the updates with no problems. I have a p5ql pro motherboard - core 2 duo e8400, 2gb ram, xfi soundcard, gtx 280 video card, 2x 1tb sata hdd - not running in raid. Ive downloaded the update from a few sites and it still comes up saying theres problems with some of the pbos. I've been able to workaround this by just copying the files from my old computer to this one, but do wonder why it wont update in the 1st place. Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated as if I didnt have another computer to copy the files from I wouldnt be able to play online mp.

Would it be possible to make a mod, where you could climb over objects - such as small walls and fences?

The filter does not seem to work properly - when specifying maximum ping say for instance - 50, then go into the server and I'm pinging over 300 - is quite annoying. Lots of games I try to join and is says it loses the session. A few ctd for no particular reason. When firing a minigun from chopper in cti it carries on showing that its firing even when I have stopped firing. Sound goes pretty funny at times. Settings are all on normal no aa no af, 1024x768. Specs: athlon 3500 @ 2.37ghz ATI x850xt slightly overclocked 1gb ram 2-2-2-5 and 1t command rate Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Using cat 6.10 drivers, latest via 4 in 1, 2mb adsl

The best agp card is the ATI Radeon 1950 Pro, so get that and you wont have to upgrade your whole system.
