Did a few more tests regarding the MHQ issue and this is the result: CFOR N - OK CFOR S - OK BAF N - NOT OK BAF S - NOT OK TFOR N - NOT OK TFOR S - OK Edit: And it is working fine on my computer when running it as dedicated server - same installation and same mission files etc. Regards DirkG

I can confirm this bug on the official North mission. South is working fine, but in the North mission the MHQ does not appear. Using the editor it appear as it should in North version. Tested on 1.03 and 1.04, with OA 1.56 and 1.57. ps. THANK you for this mission! I've had hours of fun with it.

Any chance of an update to the normal and standalone version? Do not want to use ACE and a lot of the fixes are actually of benefit for the other versions. ps. Thank you for your great work!!

Try to set your graphics settings to low. When you see that the game is stable try to crank up the settings more and more.. Maybe also a driver update could help you solve this. Do not really know as I have not experienced this for a while (did that when I used Vista x64, back on XP again)
-
I use Vista x64 with version 6.0.1.1361 of the X-Fi driver and this version is working fine for me. Maybe you can try that version?
-
Have you updated the drivers? I use the same card and have "seen" some strange issues with some versions of drivers.
-
This map is really GREAT! Thank you! Just one thing that is on my wish list: able to respawn on camps.
-
That is really strange but congratulations!
-
If you command the group members to move, do they obey? Do you get a response like "Roger" or just nothing (no sound etc)?
-
Check your sound drivers. I had an issue when the sound driver for my Creative SB X-fi did not work properly. Currently using version 6.0.1.1361 and that is working fine. If the sound driver is not working you might end up having AI not obeying your orders.

What we could benefit from it is the fact the the devs will have access to the demo. If they should test the game they would actually have to buy it.
-
I think best would be to start get the demo running. It is only v1.06 but the 3d rendering problem should be visible there too. The demo can be downloaded by the developers or other people that can help getting this game running. When testing the demo Wine/demo just crash for me. Is this the same for you guys/girls? Any idea what is causing this?
-
I do not know exactly what is causing this issue but it started appearing when I installed v1.14. It might be the drivers or it might be the the patch... Do not really understand why because I have been running the game for a very long time without any issues until v1.14.... But, my best bet is that some Direct3d feature is used in ARMA that can be causing some problem in the driver as some people have problem running other 3d apps after a crash. Proof of that is also that the whole computer freeze up and it BSOD. This should not be the case if the cause is an application error. In that case the app should crash and CTD only... I think the best solution until Nvidia or BI solve this is to change the 3d settings through the Nvidia Control Panel. This is what I do now and it works fine...
-
Well, do you want to be able to play the game or not? If it helps changing the settings, I am happy with that until BI have fixed the bug.

You should try changing the graphic settings to Low and see if it solves the problem. If so - add more and more effects until it fail (reverse the latest change you did so you are back to stable settings). This can also be done via Nvidia Control Panel. This solved the issue for me atleast. Running Vista x64, 8800GT 640MB, v175.19 drivers.
