codemaster should use some modern engines; i just hope to have in my hands a finished product. because for now, i'm just disappointed by my latest purchase. my second hope is that ofp2 will be the real son of ofp1, even with a new engine. -

Santosa, you should try some links before to post this kind of reply. why peeople are so agressive. the best anims pack is the nextgen anim made by Sanctuary, the link from ofp.info works. the best zombies pack is the Farmland mod, the link is also avaible. -

yeah, i know, but i don't want to change some parts of my pc only ffor Arma. i prefer to make that for finished games that i can enjoy just after the purchase. i don't spend a lot of money in games(i'm not an hardcore gamer), so when i buy one, it's like an investment for a long time.

on my pc, Arma runs at low settings. so i prefer to play with ofp.

if ofp2 will have the same editor as ofp1 and if i can do what i want on a map (take a car, a tank etc, i just the want the same freedom), my reply is : yes; i won't play to Arma. because Arma needs a Nasa computer to work at normal settings and i don't work at the Nasa . and it needs too much patches but i support the BIS team, because they made a amazing job, even with a limited team. and finally ofp2 is always a project, and personally i wait for UT2007

i made a modification of the NUT_UUSMC (only for my personal use), but i have a problem; when i want to have a black visor like in the picture, the face disappears.

absolutely not, if your modelling is good. these tools are not to create a lot of faces, but to help the modeller in his job. these tools just need a time to be learnt. for the moment i saw only double faces on the models which are from oxygen. because a lot of people don't know how to use the F6 keyboard.

i use wings 3d (modelling, uvmapping), 3dsmax (boolean operations, rendering, texturing-normal map-specular, and the lods) i tried a lot of modeller and for me, wings 3d is the most easy to learn and use for a beginner. even anim8tor is really great, it uses a lot of functions. the most important thing is to find a tool which is appropriate for you. btw oxygen is a big crap (i mean the old one), no extrude tool, no uvmapping tool, no bevel tool, no inset tool.

the mud seems too flat; i don't know if it's possible to make again the normal map of the bis textures, but that would be better in your mud has some deep and light/shadow. and you should use different brown colors.

some questions: i didn't open any addons, so sorry in advance. i want to use some ambient occlusion map for my futures addons. i need to have a separate map or i can merge it with the diffuse map in photoshop? (same question for a lighting map) the second one: the new oxygen allow the cross postion for the characters? iknow it's not the good topic, but i don't know where to ask my questions thx

chopper could be, tank or something to drive not. we got units where we need dualguns controlled by one crew. but atm not possible (like GDI Wolverine, GDI Vulcan Cannon) I have wrote a PM to Suma if they could include in the next patches Manual tank possibilities, like in OFP (remind at M1A1 Auto) Where you can control driver and gunner at same time. I would not have 2 crews in a wolverine, that will suck like a pig... Sentry i need also that; glad to hear that you asked to suma to add this feature in the next patch.

i made some changes, now the textures are less bright, and the details are more visible. i would use this method for the other vehicles.
