hi, I work currently on a WW2 map, and I don't know which vegetation, I should use:

I use also destructype=5 with ECP. when a vehicle is destroyed, the damaged parts become dark (turret, tracks ....), and if they are totally destroyed, there are the ECP effects (explosion + crater).

@Maxgvard these are some objects for your map. i didn't made them. my modifications are in the frenchobj.pbo, and the original addon is ww2french, you need the original for using my modifications. Only 2 objects appear on the editor: -frenchobj: -haywagon -haystack In fact, I have only added or modified the lods (geo lod etc etc), I modified the size of the haywagon (more real now), + I made an haystack and a pole for the small wall. other modifications: - stone walls can't be destroyed - 1 texture modified. btw; I have modified only the addons needed for my map. I use existing addons (BatlingBitch-military addons; mapfact-bunker; mcm44-bunkers) I rework only 1 trench from the pacific mod. this is in project ;)

yes sure; when all the houses\objects will be finished. I put all the models in 1 pbo, so for now, as you can see my objects are still not on the map. As soon as they are finished, i'm going to send them to you.;) btw, I'm going to use also Linker Split's objects. Only the little objects (walls, grass, trees), because they don't have modelling problems and they don't use tons of faces. I'm going to use only 3 or 4 houses, because I don't like very much to use stuff from other games and also because the other houses use too much faces. i'm going to create a new pbo file (with only the objects that i'm going to use) and a tag for them: "LKS_.....", as i'm not a robber, i don't want to steal Linker. if you are interested, i could send to you, the new PBO; when I would have finish to modify the addons?

thx mates, @Maxgvard, your link doesn't work;) @Macser, yes this is a little bit sad :p, and with my project of rubbles, this will be even more sad :D btw: I made two other textures (with half-timbered walls) for the dum_mesto2, pics friday :) btw2: I found an addon with objects\vegetations on a backup cd, but i don't know who made it; the name of this addon is "ww2french". someone knows the name of creator of this addon?

the 2 BIS buildings in game: and 2 pics of my map for G44 and Bielow ;) the name of the map is Letavia. it is a fictitious french map. I use as references, Brittany (my country) and Normandy. some BIS houses will be replaced or repainted. JC stuff will be also replaced.

hi, someone asked if I would make trenches; yes only 1:p. In fact this is a reworked version of a trench made by the mod Pacific War Mod. I was unable to contact them, so I suppose that credits will be enough. pics friday :)

ok, imagine just that the WTU army has modified the optic. that was my idea. :) yes sure, but I prefer to make pbo like that. this is more easy to find what I want in separated pbo, and if I make modifications, only one pbo is affected. ;)

yes, sorry, I lost the weapon, I put again to replace the new one, INQ_oicw. you mean for the weapons? damn' I was sure to have made the modifications:eek: yes, I know, this is normal. I wanted to make the volunteers totally independant strange, i don't have this problem, i'm going to check the cpp. I have maybe release a wrong file :butbut: -crazy mistake :p. yes i know the problem with the texture, I was too lazy, to change it before the release. dl INQ_oicw, to remove the problem with the WTU grenadier my plan was to modify the textures for the thyrian black ops, this is why they appear twice. ;) thx for the report, mate ;)

thx. currently there is a fight between my hedgerows and the AI. but the hedgerows work fine, the only problem is to find the proper spacing between them or the AI vehicles don't pass. :Oo:

thx.:) I have reworked also a cottage (pics soon), + a wood barrel. I'm going to use the wood barrel for making fighting pos and also a more funny thing :p I rework currently: - a ruin; that i made a long time ago. (less faces, less textures). - a dovecote; i change the textures - a big barn; the model was crappy. - and the famous dante's garage :p

ok, after hours of tests. finally I chose a mix between JC's vegetation and BIS vegetation. Berghoff's trees and plants are really nice, but they are not appropriate for West France, and they don't match at BIS vegetation About JC's vegetation: I removed a lod, now the vegetation doesn't disappear, and I removed also some mistakes in the models (map: forrest etc), and I modified also the geometry lods. Some of them had problems. :) btw: thx for your votes ;)

ok, I ckecked all the weapons, the problem should be solved now. currently I upload the addons. @Dean.F, thx mate. few minutes ago, I found a more recent map on a backup cd. do you want it? they are no big changes, 1 new base. first post updated with the new dl links. I checked all the addons, if you find a problem, please reported it. I won't update the addons for now. the project is not stopped, in fact I work currently on some new stuff, and I must redo some lost vehicles.

let me, 1 day to upload the latest addons :) but you can keep the soldiers released few days ago. they are not in the previous release. the link for the thyria map is the good one. ;) not exactly lol. as I wrote above, i'm going to release all the latest addons. I have also an IFV, the texturing is not finished (it was but I lost the files). do you want it? :)
