Ok i have made an object word for word with Brssebs tut which was great but the gun sights in game is at 90 degrees to the gunner's line of sight. So if I am facing north the players cross hair thingy is facing east. Any1 had simular problem?

I am trying to make a texture with clear background I use paint shop pro 7 which does what I want except when I save the jpg, tga or gif I get a warning saying that I can only save 1 alpha channel and then my texture is back to having a solid white background. Can anyone help? P.S I have read through the old post re texturing and obviously had no luck there so now I am here.

link comes up empty
