That's cool, but the action link is dead. Good link for the command references though. Thanks. Edit - Found it.

I have a BAS rebel Cessna 182 that just doesn't want to takeoff from the runway on Tonal(on that island on the west coast). Seems to want to head east and drive off into the water, wall, whatever, no matter where he's place or which way he's facing. Waypoint is a "move" heading north. Anybody know what's up with this? Thanks.

Simplest of things. Clearing an ammo box. I see in the FAQ, someone posted 2 ways, RemoveAllWeapons This; and ClearMagazineCargo This; Seems, when I choose either of these in an ammobox(west, weapon) it still has the original weapons there, in addition to the ones I added(at least I got that working ) Do the weapons AND magazines have to both be removed(it doesn't state that in the FAQ)? Is this the wrong box to use? For example, I'd like to just do this(just an example, I want other things in there too): RemoveAllWeapons This; This AddWeaponCargo ["AK47",3]; This AddMagazineCargo ["AK47",20]; and have only the AK show up. What am I missing, aside from a brain Thanks for helping me with the obvious, and sorry for the newbie question. Oh yeah...OFP ver 1.91 -

That looks good too. Correct my mistakes please. I put that script code in a file called ammoscript.sqs(or something like that), and put "exec ammoscript.sqs"(without the quotes) in my init.sqs file? The author doesn't say, so I'm not sure. Thanks -

Sorry to be slow about this, but I musta missed the reply. A belated thank you -
I guess we can put the Bas Tonal-Tango Pack in here now. http://www.ballistic-studios.com/ and an alternate info page(if BAS is jammed): http://www.ofpec.com/intel/index.php?a=show&newsID=508

Beautiful addon...and I haven't even tried the new units, missions, campaign, etc. Just jumped in my trusty KLR 250 and toured the countryside. Lots of wicked jumps if you can get enough speed, and real pretty at all times of day or night. Ahh

Well, I'm glad I could bring it back to brighten your day And yes, there is no way around it. It was real close to the holidays, OFP came out first, Red Storm/UBI crapped a pickle when they all saw it, and had to execute some serious damage control to prevent the holiday loss of sales on GR. GR was pretty decent compared to what had gone before(no doubt, I had fun with it regardless of OFP), but who would'a thunk some noname company would come out with something so revolutionary as OFP. Go anywhere and use anything. Wow. In GR, you can't even walk across the landscape without bumping into an invisible wall, no editor, very limited team controls(somehow the idiot reviewer made that seem like a good thing. Puh-leez), can't use anyone else's weapons, no iron sights, or weapon-in-hand view for that matter. And using a vehicle in OFP was somehow made to seem a bad thing. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Yes, the dude was paid off. And he wasn't even nice about it(or tried to make it convincing). It was blatant. It was abusive. It was insulting to the subscriber's intelligence.

I love the final verdict: BOTTOM LINE: It’s Red Storm’s best game yet, and easily beats Operation Flashpoint. I remember reading that at work. I almost punched a hole in the wall. That would've been a bad thing, right?

Here's the real scoop. You decide: http://www.pcgamer.com/reviews/archives/review_2002-07-10g.html http://www.pcgamer.com/reviews/archives/review_2002-01-02f.html Both reviews by the same full-of-it idiot.

In the states, we had an absolutely awful review from PC Gamer mag, giving it a 70%, right around the same time that they gave a dubious 93% to Ghost Recon. In the OFP review, they said don't buy OFP. Wait next month for GR(that was roughly the gist of it). And then the GR review wasn't even a review at all. Just a fantasy story about being a soldier. Listen up, pukes! You wanna be a soldier, right? Get off yer butt and get this game!(and that was roughly the gist of that one). Their motives were highly questionable, as their extreme bias was apparent(and I like GR too, but 70% to 93%...cmon!). The OFP review stated that the game didn't know which way it was going. First you're a foot soldier, then you jump in a tank and you're a tank commander? Too disorienting. And the reticle moves about on your screen like it's an auto-aim reticle. Auto-aim sucks. Sorry if I don't remember all the facts correctly(paraphrasing at best), but at the time it made everyone I know absolutely furious, we dropped our subscriptions immediately, and considered them as being payed off(or coerced) by UBI. If anyone here remembers the debacle, and recalls the 2 articles, you know there was no other way to see it. Opinions are opinions, but this was over the top. They probably killed alot of OFP's US sales with that nonsense. GR = good OFP = great

Thanks. Not to be picky, but since 3.03 is the latest, shouldn't it have a higher version number than 3.1 and 3.2? It's kinda confusing on your site is all. Thanks again.

Not to be too much of a jerk by putting a twist on things, but IL-2 is an awesome shooting game. Quite realistic, although they fnebbed IL2FB with the latest patch. Oh well. But yes, as far as FPS' are concerned, OFP ranks highly.

Umm, all I get is a file called TheSkyeVirus v3.03.Skye.pbo, which is 20.5KB in size. I thought there was a new island and stuff. Am I wrong. It seems kinda small.

Battlefield? What's that? Or rather, link please

Ok, I figured it out: ClearWeaponCargo This; ClearMagazineCargo This; Guess both were needed. Now, way back in ver 1.46 I think, I used a script(or an init field, I don't remember) to respawn an ammobox that someone kindly decided to blow with a satch charge. It would die, but respawn about a minute or 2 later(or rather, it would be all bashed up and unuseable, then it would be fresh as a daisy). I don't want it to be invincible, just respawn. It was kinda like if health below 1, wait for 2 minutes, then health full, but in code(I think that was back when BIS decided to get rid of the "never die" code, as people were abusing it). Anyone care to refresh my mind? Thanks. -
How does one save an addon to a mp mission?
DangerTooTH posted a topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
I know I've read somewhere that the addons you use in a mission can be packaged to it(.Pbo I suppose), but I know not how it is done. I have a spas12 in one MP mission(FBI spas dude), and I've tried putting the Spas12.pbo file in every addons directory known to man, but it keeps popping up as "Cannot load mission; missing addons spas12". Works fine in the editor though. What to do? -
How does one save an addon to a mp mission?
DangerTooTH replied to DangerTooTH's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Yeah. That's the problem I have. I get the message on MY machine. Yes, I can just hit "Start" and it loads it, but it seems lame that the message comes up, and I'd like to get rid of it. -
This has turned silly.

I've read reference to Suchey's Marines, or Suchey's M-16 sights. Does anyone know what and where? Thanks.
-
Check this thread: http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....6;st=15 Halfway down the page, Suchey's Marines and M-16 sights are mentioned. I mosied over to DigitalGrenade's site and grabbed their addon pack. I'm wondering if this has what I'm looking for.

Thanks. I found it in the search, but his thread was like 40 something pages long.
