Yea I had the same problem in Win 7 RC (64 bit) with 8 G RAM.. The -winxp worked for me too. What was weird is the "Run in Win XP mode" within the shortcut didn't give me the same results?! Thanks to Dwarden for clearing this up!

I totally agree with the idea of expanding the role of naval support (and ability to swim etc) in the new version..... And modern weapons.. not stupid antiquated weapons.

Had only two editors submit maps. Â Therefore, no winner will be declared (rules state a need of 10 submitting editors). Â I have asked the two mappers that did submit what they wish me to do with their maps (i.e., destroy or distribute). If they decide to distrubute, I will upload on this forum thread for all to have. Latest news... Suchey at www.digitalgrenade.com (runs the MTCO OFPR server) has contacted UDP soft (maker of The All Seeing Eye)... They are throwing in a couple of registrations for the full version of the All Seeing Eye as prizes.

1-8th has teamed up with the WarGames OFP League. Â They are now co-sponsoring this endevour. Well... After some late input on the rules (that we all agree on), the contest will end on Jan 15th to prevent lack of follow through and follow up (which usually wanes prior to 6 months in the online gaming world).

OK then Karillion.. if you win.. I won't pay you.. LOL In regards to the question on duration of the contest. Â The rules state at least 6 months. Â This is so new editors may increase their chance of winning after a little practice. It is also in place to allow for increased number of submissions. Thanks for all the comments.
