Madmike - how do you pick off all of the tanks? I've tried that and I only get killed because the others that were with the first one nail me. Besides, it take me 3 rounds to get one. And this is with enemy soldiers running all over the place.

Will these new features only be seen in the Resistance expansion or will the original campaign be updated as well?

Sorry, disregard that. Didn't read your reply very well.

What do I mean by "business"? I want to create some movies to enhance my briefings on new weapon systems. There is a whole list. Which one were you referring to?

Somewhere in the past there was talk of mimicking artillery by simply scripting an explosion at certain times and places. Can someone help me out on this? This is actually for business, not pleasure. I need to be able to designate how many explosions, where they occur, and how high off the ground it explodes (air bursting munition). Also I'd like to control how big the explosion is and how lethal it is. Any help would be appreciated.

In the game intro, a Russian soldier gets shot at the beginning at the sand bags. When he falls, he falls in slow motion. How is that done and is it possible to make an entire scripted mission go slow motion for creating movies?

I dissagree. Whenever I use the ENGAGE command, he WILL leave the formation, make the kill, and come back. At this point I don't see the difference between ENGAGE and ENGAGE AT WILL.

One of the things I'm trying to figure out how to do is set up an ambush. For instance, in one mission I was trying to sneek up on an entire squad just standing there. With a coordinated attack, it wouldn't be too hold to pick them all off. But I had to get them situated behind several bushes. I wanted them to shoot anybody within range so I gave the OPEN FIRE command. Well, nobody did anything! Evidently they couldn't quite see the targets. So I had them ENGAGE and they simply crawled out into the open and got picked off one by one. Totally, agrivating.

I'm trying to understand this command. Too many times I've told a soldier to engage a target, only to watch him crawl halfway from his initial position to the target. Usually he gets shot. The funny thing is that he already had a clear shot when he started. At least he didn't have to go that far. Anyway, is he moving such he can see all of the target (from head to toe)? Or is there something else going on? Range is not the problem. They were well within range. Thanks for your help. By the way, how do you get a soldier to move only a meter or two. Too many times I've ordered a soldier to a bush for cover but he can't see the target. The problem is that the move command doesn't seem to recognize less than 6-7 meter moves.

Another example - I was showing OFP to a shooting buddy of mine to show him how cool and realistic this game was. His very first criticism was "boy, you can sure hold that gun steady?"

Scout - I know you can pretty much get rid of it in prone, but, as far as I know, it is near impossible in standing. You can minimize it but you can't get rid of it in standing. I shoot as a hobby, so I know it exists. So are you telling me that in the military they teach you techniques to get rid of it completely even while standing? If that's true, I'd sure love to know how.

One of the things I love about OPF is the inclusion of the weapon view and seeing the outline of the iron sites. And I love the way it wobbles if you are injuried or if you are a sniper. However, in reality, it should always wobble. If you are standing, it should wobble a fair amount. While if prone, just a little. How is this adjusted?

Found it. Thankyou!
