    WHO HATE PATCH 1.42?!

I've had the same problem also. It turned out in the end to be someone's network card which was stuffing up everyone else. I'm not sure how that happened but we removed the card and reinstalled on the next boot up, so now we can have multiplayer sessions again.

    Green sky

I'm not sure if it still applies, but if the memory setting in the Preferences application's perfomance tab for Flashpoint was at 128MB or less, it would occasionally show up a green filtered sky. This was a problem for all video cards but I'm not sure on the situation with ATI cards.
  3. I was playing the Red Hammer campaign the other day and in one mission which called on me to destroy some fuel and ammo dumps, a very peculiar thing happened. I snuck into the first base and took out a few men without anyone noticing. Sneaking around the back of the buildings, I noticed 2 T72s which were unmanned as the tank crews were just standing around. I decided to kill them and steal a tank which I believed I had achieved successfully and was quite happy to go around running over everyone in the base. I stopped to look at all of the damage and whilst I was still, a single tank crew member that had survived jumped in the tank and issued commands to me. Bemused, I noticed a tank moving up beside me and thought the worst, went it happily went about it's way and was followed by another tank. A minute later a Russian squad that was dropped off by a transport chopper entered the base. It seems as though the AI would not fire on me because the commander in the tank was registered as friendly so they didn't show cause for alarm, even as I was running them over. You can see it as a bug if you want or an exploit of the AI..I don't really mind as it made most of the mission very easy. (I went back and did it properly)

    Independence Lost

If it is based on the conflict on East Timor then it went like this. Some 25 years ago, Indonesia forcibly took control of the Timorese (which previously was a Portugese territory). This of course sparked resistance by the people who made their own democratic army of freedom fighters. Eventually the world took notice and following a UN held election in which the people voted in favour of autonomy and separation from the Indonesians, there was an outbreak of violence from guerilla fighters which were allegedly trained by the Indonesians, who issued them with armaments in order to put fear into the people. In the course of these attacks, they hit UN offices in East Timor, killing dozens of UN Aid workers. Naturally the world didn't stand for this shit and sent in an Australian and New Zealand sanctioned peacekeeping force in order to clear the shit out and rebuild the country. The Australians even sent in a few hundred police officers in a bid to bring order to chaos. So it has the same possible angles as Flashpoint at the moment. Fight as the "peacekeepers", the freedom fighters or the Indonesian backed guerillas.
