nope, thats about all you can do, i heard that DX8 was limiting OFP's graphics. i dont know if thats a rumor or what, but when OFP resistance comes out there will be definatly better graphics. make sure you have a 300$ 400$ video card to ensure that u are running at the topest graphics cards u can get. lol n/m bout that, unless ur willing to blow ur money. Oh yea, when Direct X 9 comes out that should also help your graphics and sound

And also im not sure that Windows XP Professional, or Windows XP version really support OFP, i know i have home edition XP and i have problems with OFP... hmm

what do you mean "the order of patching doesn't seem to make any difference" ? if u have EU copy u upgrade to 1.20, then to 1.30, then to a 1.40 upgrade, in this case use 1.46 to upgrade 1.30

yea i heard there was a prob with the U.S version of GOLD UPGRADE that comes with the full game on the CD, i just got the seperate CD. i still use my original OFP CD, thats the way to go

ok hide in one of the buildings on the road where the 2 m113's come on hide in a buildings the the church, ussualy when entering the area u should kill a law guy, take his laws, get up in a window and sniper everything in sight wait for the m113's take em out 1 by 1 as they approach, MAKE SURE U SAVE IT WHEN UR SNIPERING. the enemy gets real gutsy and runs in the buildings and finds u and kills u. once u take out both those m113's, when i did i felt like the gutsy one then and decided to take out the 3rd officer, i killed the guard guys, was like 5-6 i had my guy run around the side of the building while i distracted there attention and he took a few of them out while i had the 3rd member a block down from me guarding my ass from behind, and belive it or not when i weas leaving the area i went to see if he was dead, and theres a pile of bodies in front of him lol! so none of my guys was killed, i killed 3 officers, and tons of infantry, and got my 2 guys AND me safe back to the helicopter!

i sorta like commanding, ussualy everything comes out with a good outcome when i command lol. what can i say this world just needs commanders as much as soldiers to follow the commanders commands

I have 2 probs, when im in a tank in the gunner position or driver position, when some kind of battle goes on my mouse almost becomes revert of what it is there for messing my controls up so i cant aim properly anymore. Now the other prob is, i try and do a SIDE run which makes you run alot faster by pressing the laft and forward key cursors , AND holding shift , on the keyboard and it will only let me press a few buttons at a time, so in a situation when i have to run away from something im running slow as mollases. I was wondering if it was just XP or its the updates or what, cause i never had these problems when i had 98 or ME installed..

yea they fixed that in one of there MANY MANY patches and updates. i remember when u could reload forever. now the ammo just goes down and down and down till ur at 1-0

yea the over sized boxes that had the games in them were rediculous. i mean i have a corner in my room that is stacked to the ceiling literaly with game boxes. i saw those small boxes of renagade i was like OHHHHHH COOOOOOL. and no it did not influence my purchase

Command & Conquer is alright, if your a C&C fan. They really really blew it with the demo. The lagg and the Dedicated servers get better in the full game. Yes yes I bought the game lol. No regrets... Cept... i shoulda gotten that harddrive instead. Yea, but like i said only get it if your a big C&C fan and still play those original games. I pretty muched moved on to bigger and better things than clicking on pixels and moving them around a "so called map". yea i got bored with that once they came out with awsome FPS, Delta Force, Deus Ex, Max Payne, Progect IGI, OFP, Half Life... and so on... i got em all... i got the originals too lol, Quake and duke nukem 3D haha old games i will never go back to hehe

awsome ideas, me thinks, hopefully BI Studios will read these and put a few of these in here. i personally think that player movement should handle differently, then they could fix the building glitches, hmm what am i talking about the buildigns are glitches by themselves. player handling should handle more like... Delta force land warrior and C&C renegade put together cause i hate how i move and it feels like my bodys all warped, and u cant run and shoot efficiently, thats bull. in most wars ur running and shooting, this is definatly not a CQB game, they failed on that. but in order for them to create something like that they might as well start form scratch with there OFP engine
