Good morning and happy 4th for all us U.S. Members. I am in need of some help. I am the MG (Master Gunner) for my unit and am designing Tank Gunnery Qualification Tables for my armored units. Basically what I need to do is be able to activate preset enemy tanks, APC's, Troops on a trigger that I can command. What I want to do is setup 10 engagements, each on the radio. A would be 2 APC's and 2 sets of troops to spawn where I put them. Question is how can I do this? I am learning the editor well but could use a "noobs layout" of how to do this. Also, if done, can I have them "de-spawn" with the radio or do they just stay active until destroyed?

The sponsor of my new unit is having a new server tower built. However, I cannot answer his questions on what needs to be uploaded to it. We are going to be hosting ArmA and BF 2. Anyone able to "idiot explain" to me what he will need to upload to the server? Guess at 36, it's harder to learn new things.

Is there a way to host Evolution Blue on a personal PC? I wanted to host a session, but was unable to find it in the selections. I did find warfare, but not Evo. Any ideas?

I would like to ask any of you super geniuses out there if one of you could PLEASE throw together a crown victoria police car for us. I was in communications with DaChevs and was looking forward to The City Life release, but it seems that is out. Site is down and no coms with him. I need a few crowns as MP cruisers for our unit. At my age (36), I cannot seem to grip the whole modeling thing. Although I am getting better at scripts. I have a few pictures of the MP cruisers at Ft Hood while I was in the Army, so if you really want it authentic let me know. If not any crown vic with decent lights and siren would be nice. Just a favor for a vet if you want to call it that. (and yes I tried the police porche, lights and siren are nice, but the model is old school Pent 1-ish).

Good Afternoon Gamers; Seldom do I personally recruit or visit the forums. Today I felt you should see things from a new point of view. I have been in gaming in one means or another, since 1983. I have seen units come and go, started my own, left them, started more. Etc etc etc. From virtual airlines to combat realsim teams. At 36, I can say I am past the point of experienced gamer. So today I am going to bring you up to speed on a unit that while surely not the oldest, or biggest, IS WITH NO DISPUTE, one of the few run by those who care about honor, honestly, teamwork, and fairplay, more than how big they are, how cool their website is, or how many servers they have. Am I biased? Sure. I am not only a member, but one of the senior NCO's of the unit. However, being a veteran of the real 1st Cavalry Division, and a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom II, I can tell you we DO bring things to the gaming realism table that alot of these "hocus pocus, fly by night" teams and clans can only dream up and run to mommy to buy em. Is the 1st Cavalry Division for you? That depends on "what you, the gamer, want". If you are looking for and/or fit the following, you may have a future with the "First Team" 1. Are 15yrs of age or older 2. Can work in a realism unit (taking orders and instructions from those appointed above you). 3. Can be honest and energetic 4. Attend at least 6hrs per week (not per day like others, we know you have a real life). 5. Have ArmA, COD4, or BF2/PR installed and funtional. What we don't want: 1. Liars, racists, hackers (bot babies), whiners, etc If you want realism TAUGHT by people who were there, in combat, and not in some base as a pencil pusher his/her entire career, then come find me. My commander and my own Command Sgt Major, are also veterans of the U.S. Army, 1st Cavalry Division. We have seen it and lived it. Now we invite you to come see what military life is like.
