Unless I'm missing something, it seems like I need to go through and bind all the actions to the various buttons and axes for the stick, throttle and rudder. Is this the case, or is there some way of just having it done automatically? The stuff is in the list of controllers, but it doesn't appear in the various actions until I operate a button or direction. Thanks in advance.

That's a negative. No effect. I really would like to able to get my AI to lay down area fire, especially the ARs and such. Oh well, they might fix Supress one day. I suppose they do it to an extent automatically when they see an enemy.

Sorry for being dense, but is there any way of doing that to have an AI unit lay down area fire? Can you target a structure?
-
Do they then actually fire at the structure? Playing around in the editor, mind stand there doing nothing.
-
Is there any way to do this? (I don't think there is, but I thought I'd ask). Or will they only fire on targets they can currently see rather than in a direction? I'd particularly like to get the ARs to lay down suppressive fire, but can't find a way to do it. Anyone know how?

I understand that the 8800 GTX isn't officially supported by ArmA (although I'm not actually sure where that support information is - doesn't seem to be on the readme I have). I also realise that this isn't an nVidia forum, but does anyone know what the current status of the 8800 GTX is? Is it right that there's some sort of problem with it that will be supposedly fixed by a driver update in mid September? TIA

Wondering about this when trying to make long range sniper shots. TIA. OCD: affect

Can you make a team go into a certain formation?

Yup, that's what I mean. I wish there was a way to do it easily. -
AA scripting language: is it basically C?
CoriolisForce posted a topic in ARMA - MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Not that I know much about C, but just wanting to know if that is the closest comparison. TIA -
Hi there. I don't think there is a way to do it, but I thought I'd check just in case. Can you set up two teams in a squad, and order each of  them to go into (for instance) a vee formation? TIA
