This game has to have one of the worst controls schemes I've seen in recent history. The only thing worse that comes to mind is scarface which wouldnt let you remap any controls. There is waaaaaaaay too many controls, and you have to go to a different screen to remap. On that screen you have to click on each and every keymap, and delete the mapping. I have actually spent more time screwing with controls than playing the game. And maybe its just me, but I cant seem to remember 180 keymaps. What the heck do I need to salute or sit down for?? Thats retarded. I'm sure there are many more retarded controls. There is NO jump to get over small obsticles. Then they chose to double up on controls, like you press crouch to crouch, but it doesnt toggle, so I have to press another key to stand up!?!? There are several common controls that are doubled up. why?? I seem to need 18 fingers on each hand. I havent seen this many controls since I played a flight sim. right control key cant be mapped. Bohemia seem to be wasd babies. right mouse doesnt work when mapped to move forward, and I get a mysterious lag ONLY when in a vehicle. After a half hour of gameplay I decided to take the game back. I played Close Combat: First to Fight awhile back, it is a much much much much better 'combat sim' Good luck Bohemia, on your next title I wont even bother to buy (and take back).

I can see by responses that NO ONE want to accept this is a problem. This is SO TYPICAL. they have your money, now they forget you. crappy programming. they seemed to support retarded wasd well. who cares. NO ONE uses wasd. //edit// when will a patch be available for this title right out of the box. crappy programming.

check up-in-ya, that module might be there! yes oh brilliant one, I mapped it that way still it doesnt work. geeze I really really didnt think I would have to tell people here that I had remapped the control. I assumed that would go without saying. I see you are as bright as the devs. thanks anyway.

well simply holding ctrl reveals that this is a prank, and frans is retarded. Any (decent) suggestions? Or does this title need a patch right out of the box?

Using the right mouse button to move forward does not work. This is a novice mistake, but somewhat understandable since Bohemia Interactive is an amateur company. I found this in less than 5 minutes of gameplay. I expect this title to be full of bugs. And while I have your ear, let me just say that this title has way to many keys. Bohemia should have made some controls interactive, or used an overlay while in vehicles etc. Instead there is this awkward interface that took me a nearly an hour just to setup controls. And by the way, for some strange reason Bohemia felt compelled to reserve right control. Hey thanks alot thats my crouch key. I have no Idea how I will play this game. stop catering to stupid wasd no one uses that retarded control setup.
