    yeah there is alot of crap going on in the server. i havent been in a single game thats run smoothly (without any interference) for about 6 weeks now. :/ its hackers, lamers and other idiots who keep ruining the game for others... there needs to be permanent admins on site more often to sort these problems out. :/

    I would just like to say Jesper is pissing myself and everyone else off with his abusive attitude and my-way-high-way tactics. he also joins a game, takes commander position, starts the game, builds the base, then goes afk for like hours - so when the game is finished, we cant play again because he's left himself in commander position and he has admin status. also, he always rants and raves about how he can do what he wants because he is good friends with Kar and it means he can do anything he likes on the server because he has power and he is "big buddies" with kar. :| jesper needs to fuck off.

    :O!!! looks awesome! i cant wait to play the finished product. will there be a co-op version? with like 8 player slots mixed along the allied sides (for instance - 2 civilian, 3 RACS, 3 BLUFOR) because that would be awesome. keep up the good work dude.

    Hello. Been playing on an off all week, great map. I do have a few thoughts on it though. the SLA Landrover that is spawned comes up as an enemy vehicle because the SLA are hostile to all sides. this proves to be a problem when someone has spent the better part of an hour driving behind enemy lines, only to be taken out by a TEAM MATE who mistook the vehicle for enemy. Solution? Either make the SLA neutral to all, OR add some of the civilian trucks to the list so we can have more choice on light vehicles. Can we have a humvee or brdm version that can spawn base defenses, ammo crates etc like the original RTS series in OFP? It would be alot easier than driving a truck to a position near the enemy base to build an ammo crate for resupply when B.E.L. Ideally it wouldnt be able to capture areas, but would be just a utility jeep that was capable of spawning certain things and making life generally easier. :P base defenses - in the older RTS and CTI missions on OFP, we could build static base defenses. Would it be possible to include something similar? a forward base just isnt a forward base without some sort of static defense system. Something with anti ground capability and anti air capability. But besides the above, AWESOME MAP! I cant wait to finish work these days so i can get home and play! and not many games have had that affect on me in years. keep it up. (BEL = behind enemy lines) (P.S - Please dont take the above as demands, they are merely ideas which in my opinion could improve gameplay, but that is merely my opinion.)
  5. Hello all. I have come across this problem recently and its killing all online and even offline play for me. I start up ArmA, find a server (normally an RTS server, but also on other map types) and i start playing. Anywhere from 5 minutes to several hours, it just cuts out, and goes back to windows desktop, gives me an error and thats that. Im running the latest patch, everything is fresh and hasnt been tampered with. Has anyone got any ideas? I'll try and get a screen shot of the problem next time it occurs. My system specs are as follows: 2.8GHZ Pentium D915 CPU. 1024mb Corsair DDR2 667mhz RAM. MSi 7600GT 256mb GFX. Onboard sound. please help me, im just getting into ArmA online now and im having a hard time playing with all of the ArmA crashes. Thanks.

    yeah i did check the website, and it assumes that i know alot about mission making when i dont. what do you mean use the files to create a new mission? sure, i unpacked the yombies template to my mission directory, now what? i just need some help with it.

    okay i need some help. i have no idea how to fiddle with missions in ArmA. I am completely lost. i dont know how to add and use the yomies in my missions because ArmA feels so different when making the missions. So, could someone please explain RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING, how do i make a mission in ArmA, using the yomies, because im having a hard time trying to figure it out. thanks.

Hi, i need some help with setting up OFP linux dedicated. the server will run FFUR2007. some questions: What should i do to patch it? must i patch it with v1.96 regular first and then v1.96 dedicated linux afterwards? in the last attempt, a friend of mine setup a linux dedicated server, and random keys werent working, i.e third person view didnt work and some players couldnt bring up iron sights. any solutions to this problem? (we were playing in cadet mode, not veteran.) also, how does one set up the server that other administrators can access and change game settings from around the world? how would you log in to a server as administrator in america if you are in the UK? any other tips on general server maintenance?     Hey thunderbird84, thanks for the response. Something else came to my attention... the excessive smoke levels produced by infantry weapons. its a bit unrealistic, considering that i dont see that much smoke coming off any rifle ive fired, AR15 included. remember, the propellant used in ammunition today is considered "smokeless" so i was wondering, if that would be changed or adjusted in any way? its a bit annoying when using the scoped M4 ingame and after firing a few short bursts, i cant see anything properly, and i feel more like im playing a collonial mod (minus the scope and full auto of course) than a modern military mod. also, any chance the resistance could get a proper APC variant of the MT-LB much like the russians have a BTR-80 and the americans have an M113 as thier light troop transports? just another question. just a few questions on my part, thanks for the great work so far! keep it up!     Hey. great mod! i just wish there was more detailed special forces - i.e a subcategory for each side which contains every class but in SF form. i.e medics, MG, etc, but all SF like with supressors n shit. my main question is this: 1) can i please get a 100% accurate list of all weapon config names in FFUR2007 along with thier respective ammo types? I want to add a few to my missions and i dont know where to find such a list. :E also, my last question: i want to use the zombie mod with this mod, is that possible? has it been tested and found stable and working? thanks again FFUR team!     Hey guys, i'd like to ask a pretty big favor... would someone please explain step by step how i can get the zombies to attack everyone (except each other) including civilians and resistance? Im a bit of a noob so i'd like to know what exactly it is i have to do, as i said, in step by step form. thanks guys. and keep the great work up! i love this mod! edit: i have checked through a few pages, but looking at all of them is a bit of a bitch and yeah, if its not too much to ask, can someone help me out... :O thanks again.
