Yeah I got an HP Pavilion a420n like 2 yrs old with AMD Anthalon XP3000+ 1gig an it's just barely playin the game. i can't go into forest(10 an below on fraps ) or highly congested building areas it slows down some. But if'n I'm out wandering about around Arcadia I'm just fine. I also created a map with like 6 tanks an 3 BMP's an close 60 or so infantry give or take 20 then had like 2 or 3 KA50's buzzin around with some M-1's an AI at the OP with all that running i started to get some poping noises in the background. I took out helos an kept 1 M-1 an it quit.

Yeah if i can I want to stay with XP as it's sooo stable now. For above PC looking to get in March.

I had problems at first too with simalar error until I went to version 9 reapplied 1.02 then did the language conversion.

Sorry all this is reply to the fix for above post (was playing, an learning the editor ) Anyways I had problems after getting the Language coversion to work with 1.02 patch when it came out an realised after checking the forumns I was using version 8 not version 9 of the Language conversion so once I switched that everything worked fine

Very happy I got the game.

Same problem though I've barely touched singleplayer, ctd near water an I also believe I may be having sound related ctd too cause noticed it crashed(MP) when Helo sounds in background, checked the support page but it's what looks like a 1-800 # for Morphicon an there forumns are mainly in German I believe. Yeah must've done somthing wrong uninstalled everything, then did the patches, then did the language conversion game is in German still should I've just applied 1.02 an left the rest? The other recomendations I've never done anything like that as far as swapping files an adding files.So lil lost

I removed everything was',nt sure what to do beings 1.02 came out so i uninstalled everything but forgot the ArmA folder so it did'nt work an I believe thats what part of the problem was when i tried applying the 1st patch an language conv. 9.9 definate must have of 07!!!!!!!!!!!! Few bugs but that will be fixed!! Coops are the scheut. Barely touch campaign mode do to oline play.
