    Pffft. As if that's a joke. Hell, if I had my own division, I'd bring up my orchestral platoon (! just so I could play Bolero once my tanks get rolling. Pity it goes for about 15 minutes, though.

    Eh? Dunno what you're talking about. @ NSX - the retexed ACU work was mine, and to be frank, compared to TB84's stuff, it stank. I'll never embarass myself enough to release it. And the BlackOps probably wouldn't wear MARPAT - I think they're emulating US Army SpecOps (Delta/GBs), not Marine Recon teams, especially if the regular troops are wearing Army CUs.

    I suggest Ravel's Bolero for the Operation Flashpoint theme. Damn that's a wonderful song. I still do weights to it this very day.

    Good job, TB. Looking really good - just one thing I've gotta mention. When you replaced the officer's cap with the helmet, did you add the microphone from the squad leader's helmet and the radio from the squad leader's back? Just that an officer would probably have these things, and I didn't notice them on the screenies. Also, once the release is out, I have a small personal request for you, but I'll ask you once your main job is finished. Keep it up, 2LT McDonald.

    ACU officer looking great, TB. In reality, do the riflemen use the same armour + webbing system as the officers? (I'm hoping to simply retex the riflemen with the officer ACU armour, heheh! Thanks for taking up KMan's request, 2LT McDonald. PS. Glad Shilka is working!

    The explosion size is often defined in the class. Although I'm an experienced config editor, it's a bit annoying to explain, so I won't. Now, the easy stuff. To edit damage, you are looking for the ammo subclass of the weapon, eg, CAM_bigshell500mm, etc. Look for the following lines. hit=x; indirecthit=x; indirecthitrange (or something like that) =x; hit is the amount of damage a direct hit does. Indirect hit shows how much damage a unit will take if it was right next to the impact spot, but not hit by the weapon. Indirect hit range shows the range of the indirect hit damage. For example, you'd expect the APSDS (sabot) shell to have a lower range than a HEAT shell, and you'd expect a HE-Frag shell to have the largest range of all. Damage declines as you move further away from the impact point - this is also what the indirect hit range is defining.

    Amen! Â Oh, and TB84, could you please please please make an ACU cover for the Interceptor armour? Maybe not on the standard riflemen, but for the officer, like KMan suggested? I admire those texturing skills!

    Agent Smith - fairly sure it's the straight and level tracks causing the problem... I can't find a way around this. I just can't understand why this is happening! Especially on a monster machine like mine! Ack!

    I agree with the KMan's evaluation there. However, I'm not sure the FFUR team have many modellers on board, which is why they don't modify too many models, preferring to retexture. Sorry if I just insulted anyone, as I'm not a member of the team I can't comment, but that's just my humble opinion. @ Kman - you could always offer to help out... (I would, but I've never modelled in my life, and I'm helping out with anims in a very small way).

    Probs - mine works just fine. Another thing about the ACU camo, since people are advocating futuristicness in the uniform (without changing the model), do the kneepads deserve a redo? Something like this? One could just retex the pads, and the knee region of the leg texture.

    ACU is looking excellent. Great job! One point to make, though - the arm with the US Flag on it should also have the big patch like the unit one does. Also, shouldn't the Interceptor armour have an ACU cover? (Or a BDU one?) @ Mr. Reality - desert boots are standard issue with ACU uniforms, and are to be used in all environs.

    Not sure - all I did was remove all three p3d's of the tracks and now it runs like it should. I'll have another look and see which section it is.
