Rear security missions appeal to me, but I also like "chewing-the-fat" kinds of missions. I once made one where you went on a small patrol, had a chat with the lads, and then drove a truck to a main base. Once there, a bit of reward-orientated target practice finished off the mission. Got 8/10 at OFPEC, and not one enemy killed. Â As for new ideas, I would like to start editing with Game2 right away, to make a "better-than-original" campaign. I hope to see some resupply missions, as well as even... ...a drag your wounded comrade to safety will occasionally dropping him and returning fire kind-of-scenario.

Plus you can bet your life on it the addon makers won't be far behind... looking forward to seeing the Russian Federation's military might in AA.

Seems fine. As far as Samsung goes as a brand, I've got a DVD-RW of theirs, and it runs fine. I went straight to the top with my HD though, and got a small but blindingly quick one.

If you still don't know how to edit a config, my friend, your OFP life will be a sad and depressing one. My advice: get PBOx and look in the config of DLEM's units for the following entries: weapons=[] magazines=[] Good luck. Â PS. Of course, even to inexperienced players, taking out AA cover shouldn't be a problem, OFP-chopper + plane flying is so easy. What is the main area of concern to me is that AI players will be immediately swatted out of the skies by the AA missiles these units carry. Of course, it depends upon the situation of the mission, however, I think players on the ground will have to think very carefully about calling in air support from now on (if they even have that option in certain missions). Totally realistic, of course - I'm all for it (I've done some ludicrous stuff in choppers), but it may make the BIS campaigns very very interesting.

Hmmm... I can see what you're trying to get at. Though I'd have to give your setup the ole Mark I eyeball before I could fully grasp the effect. Looks nice, though.

Who can say? Sadly, a lot of what people think (including myself) is still pure conjecture at this point. Wish I had a 4x option for real life though.

I get that too - not sure of the cause, but it runs well enough that I can usually ignore it. Funny thing is that I only get it while zooming in and out. -
I agree - it needs transparency, otherwise it looks like it's firing some kind of solid epoxy cloud. Just a thought.

I hope BIS changes it to Interceptors in AA, if they're not. Otherwise I'll have to fix it myself. Â

Youch. Remind me not to say when I reach 1000! Can I ask what dexterity values FFUR uses for each weapon? I need some pointers. I'm currently using around .7 for the SAW, I've got a full list on my computer when I get it back.

Also, I'd like to see some AI speaking off the bat. Probably not going to happen, but it would be nice for the AI to have a chat when in safe or careless mode (if these exist in AA). Kind of ECP-like, but integrated into the engine.

I think Armed Assault will be a tad more superior to OFP: Elite. The amount of stuff BIS seems to be cramming into it at the last minute almost boggles the mind.
