I'm a big fan, and I was going to send this to Smith personally, but I'll put my gripe in: We need more plain, non-camoed faces. That said, I'm not doing anything to help, so I'll got and stand in the corner. I just think it looks a bit silly when we've got around 130 awesome camoed faces to use on combat units, but when it comes to units who probably won't be on the frontline (garrison units, civilians, etc) we have a lousy 20 or so. If someone could work on this I'd be eternally grateful. <Shuffles off to corner, grumbling.>

Have you ever hoped your ECP-enhanced soldiers would say something along the lines of: "Damn, it's cold." "Check it out." "Hard up for a date, aren't you?" "You had to laugh when that drink machine lit up." "Can I at least get a lift home this weekend?" "Scout ahead - we'll cover you! "I think we'll all sleep a little better tonight knowing it's locked up" or even... "Why are you such a prick?" "I could really go for a roast beef sandwich right now." Wait no longer! I'd like to present my first addon (finally) for the OFP, and specifically, ECP community! This little PBO adds around 500 extra sounds to the revolutionary DSAI system pioneered by the ECP team. All sounds are of high quality, compressed into oggs and hail from games of modern times. All the new voices are US, for now. Don't expect the game to become a shoddy FPS with ridiculously unrealistic voices though. My own nitpicking mind has selected on the most realistic voices to insert (ask Thunderbird84 of the FFUR team just how nitpicking my mind is). See the ReadMe for installation instructions - it's damn simple! Even that guy who recently claimed the search engine was crap could do it! (Probably...) NOTE: This is NOT AN OFFICIAL ECP ADDON. The ECP team has NOTHING to do with this release, and will spam you if you try and contact them. Instead, direct all complaints to me, and I'll try and help you out as best I can. DSAI Extension Hope you enjoy it. ReadMe addition - AVP II sounds are present too. KNOWN BUGS: For some unknown reason, units in combat are shouting "Grenade!" sometimes. I'm looking into it.

Got bored in the middle of studying for exams, so here I am! Security forces at Phoenix airport make a fighting retreat into the main complex. During President Putin's visit to Nogova, SOBR forces were kept on high alert - this SOBR marksman keeps his eye out for trouble. Defence Minister Ourtakov recieved much the same protection. USMI A little hybrid project I've been working on for FacePlant... US Infantry visit Gravette. Hope you like them, NSX. Any changes you'd like to see? A: RHS, ICP, DXDLL, HK, ECP, FML, LiquidSnake (?), TCS Plage, Voron357, DLEM/FFUR/LSR Infantry Hybrid of DOOM. Oh, and FacePlant. -

Hahaha - no, not quite. The sounds are separated into categories, eg, "Combat," "Aware," "Retreat," "Grenade," "Idle," etc. Thus, you can't get "Idle" chatter in a combat situation. -
If you're brave, you might try overclocking sometime too. My 6800GTO is overclocked, with only stock cooling and it's running fine.

Make a soldier of whatever side you want. Set his rank to Colonel, to ensure he's the leader of this group. Then, head south to the "Probability of Presence" bar, and set it to 0. Make your civilian(s). Press F2 to select groups, and then click on the civilians and drag lines from them to the Colonel (NOT the other way around, it won't work). You should have a bunch of civvies that are aligned to the Colonel's side (eg, West, East, etc), but no Colonel to be seen (because he doesn't exist).

Woah, 1-1 Australia vs. Holland. We didn't really stand much of a chance winning, though. As an amateur goalie (2nd XI undefeated GPS premiers 2004 - 4 goals conceded, 2 from penalties!, I admired the way Schwarzer saved our bacon. Though it was a pity Viduka missed that penalty too. Damn, those Dutch are good.

Depends if you have DXDLL enabled. If so, it will save to the "screenshots" folder in the Operation Flashpoint\DXDLL folder. If not, just open paint, PSP, Gimp or whatever you so desire, and press Ctrl-V to paste your beautiful pic. Do whatever editing you want, host it online, and whack it in the forums - simple. Nice shots - NSX. My pics would be a ton better if I had your monitor (and graphics card!. Parvus - I'm fairly sure he's using the FFUR config. Â Though he can answer for himself! Oh and NSX - I've got a nice little surprise for you - I've improved the FacePlant US Infantry...

She only works with ECP, I'm afraid. Unless you find a way to include DSAI in your mod - which I am not going to even try (though the ECP team may help you), this addon will just be a bunch of sounds. Though you can always use them like that, if you wish. It appears I have another fix to be working on. -

AKs for a start... most likely AKMs (yes, there is a difference between the AK47 and AKM, UkraineBoy - two words: muzzle brake).. the usual smattering of PG2s, PG7s and their respective launchers. Stolen AK74s, too. Perhaps even the AK74 as a majority, seeing as they'd be fairly common by now (I'm not talking about the 74M, which would be rare, I imagine, among rebels). Whatever vehicles they can lay their hands on, as well. Kind of an open question. -
Well, there's a modding possibility there, at least.

Yep. Perfectly normal, and a hell of a lot better than getting pinged if you forget to put the CD in, IMHO.

Heck, if any modern FPS didn't have weapon sway, unless purposely (like a Zero-G simulation or something), they'd be crucified.

Sorry to cut the line of the thread here, but it seems that some of the addons being done by the USMC Mod will end up in AA, seeing as they have too many polys to appear in OFP... without blowing up the average computer, anyway.

Your version must be fubared, I use texview to convert jpegs all the time. And yes, your JPEGs must be a certain size to be seen in TexView, or else they won't show up.

456820 is talking about the ECP vehicle chatter that plays when in tanks and/or helicopters. I could add more, but I'm kind of concentrating a lot more on modding atm. Perhaps in the future, or perhaps for AA:ECP, but I dunno. -
Though if you like Joint Operations, I kinda suppose you'll love AA. What do you think about Operation Flashpoint? 3) Apparently BIS (the producers of AA and OFP) are cracking down on this area, but I have no specifics. Anyone want to chip in?
