Hey mate, one thing I spotted: - Anaconda's trigger anim isn't working. - When the M249 belt empties, the rounds are still visible in the top of the ammo box. Great work, broham. -

1. Wrong, wrong, WRONG. There are many types of flags in active use, and the one I have chosen (an IR reflective, non-subdued patch) is plastic, not stitched, and thus has no outline. It was provided by olemissrebel, respected forum member and real life Airborne infantryman. 2. I know. Trust me, I've done my research. And the game is actually using AAPV USMC helmets, not PASGTs, FYI. 3. I'm working on an IOTV already. See above. 4. Maybe. What pins? 5. It's a fictional vest. And unless you'd like a zip-up vest that looks like an Interceptor OTV, it ain't going to happen until I have tools to work with. 6. I know. Refer to points 2 and 3, as well as the addon's readme ("...wearing incorrect equipment"). Can't be helped until the tools come out. I've covered all these points somewhere in the thread +/- readme, no need to remind me. I'm probably the most tuned-in bloke on these forums when it comes to US Army infantry equipment. SF are being worked on, however, I'm currently busy clearing up loose ends, including getting my innoculations current for deployment, as well as amalgamating weapon packs. Remain tuned. Glad you like them, good to know they're liked. -

Can't wait for the release. Will this be the last version of the RACS stuff to come out (assuming no catastrophic bugs exist, of course)? I just like it when I can amalgamate the weapons into my own private pack and know they won't be updated within the next few days. -

Good to know, thanks mate. Since it's pulled when chambering a round, I'll make it move once when reloading a mag (since tac reloads don't seem to exist in ArmA). -

Are you working on troops as well, or just vehicles and equipment? I'd like to see what you blokes can crank out texturewise if you are choosing to have a look at the blokes themselves. -

Oi Skaven, just one thing I noticed: - The trigger animations don't seem to be working. I managed to get it working for your FAL, but I had to steal a SWM MP5 to donate a trigger. I think the models are missing a trigger_axis point in the memory LOD, but even when I added it the animation screwed up (the trigger fell vertically back into the weapon from a great height with each shot). You might want to look into it before the release. It's nothing pressing, just something I noticed. EDIT - I also managed to get the cocking handle to move during firing, and once during reload. I'm not sure if this is realistic (if it ain't I'll probably get rid of it), but it looks nice. Just something else you might consider (if it's realistic). FAL -
Mate, I can tell you, I'll definitely be asking to borrow the MAV off your soldier model when he comes out. Some other webbing models would be nice too... SDS I-Rack, FAV, etc. etc, if you need pics, just scream.

They're zeroed at 150m (e.g. the bullet will hit in the centre of the reticle at 150m range). In other words, at ranges < 150m, you will have to aim below the centre of the scope to compensate for the bullet.

Well, there are _smdi files, but I thought those were just specular maps... there are no _nohq textures (or related normal map textures) to be found. It'd be nice to see some normal maps in there, if I'm right that they're missing.

Nice weapons. The only things I would change, were I God: - They seem a bit too dark. I understand they are dark IRL, however. - And the dropping magazines are... nice, but I'd prefer if they just stayed in the hands (i.e. dropped a little bit) rather than flying through the ground. Oh, and the Skorpion's magazine actually flew up when I reloaded it. Good to see the VSK, my fave Ruskie gun.

Ass-kickery! I would like to see it in the RACS camo, however, to add to the above comments, so it doesn't look out of place with the '113, '163 and 4x4s.

tried booting ur game with -maxmem=512 Â Â in the shortcut? (arghh me go make some wiki asap) Happened to me in XP also. Silly me thinking Vista would fix everything (though I can run the game, and well, just not for extended periods of time).
