I quite like both, and I know more good addons will roll around for ArmA eventually, heck there are some wonderful ones in the pipe right now, even I'm making one (whether or not it'll be wonderful is anyone's guess, though). I don't see any real distraction from enjoyment in ArmA, and I play both SP and MP. When I play MP I play with a bunch o' good people, so that's fun, and when I play SP, I don't have to worry about desync, and can make my own missions to enjoy. I do wish there was more of a proliferation of ArmA addons coming out, but in all truth I think it's just a "quality over quantity" natural-selection-esque kind of thing. It's sad that new addon makers feel daunted by all the new requirements ArmA needs, but it gives a chance for those guys who know what they're doing to improve their work even further. PS. Someone make a Bradley. Please.

Good find! - I see handsignals, a T90, XM8s, Hinds, and somewhat decent use of cover (?) so far. That last video is a good one to check out. The AI still seems hardcore clunky though, I guess. They just don't seem to... interact with the environment all that well, from what I see (which is, of course, just like ArmA at present, but heck, early WIP, I suppose).

The guy's name is Toad, Shash, just Toad. Always hated him, he was the crappest jumper in Super Mario Bros 2 (I've always been a Mario fan - love the 'stache). But in any case, I'll throw in my .2 AUD and say that the legs warrant a little bit of work, since normal maps can only do so much. Some dirt, etc would be kewl. -

Nicely, gj there. I'd say your problem concerning blood has to do with your RVMAT files, but beyond looking at your config I can't say much else. Remember for your custom RVMATs that their links are case sensitive! -
What a stupid assertion. I suppose the RHS work has "low poly iron sights" and "unconvincing textures" too, eh. No offense to Robert, but his pistol pack had plenty of issues last time I looked as well. And what a convincing normal map that Desert Eagle had on it!

I find the way to stop your mates lighting up an empty vehicle is to keep identifying it (e.g. right mouse button) until they realise it's empty (and the identifying marker should go from red to white) They're only shooting at it because they don't KNOW it's empty. Thus, tell them. The reason you got lit up, Commando84, is because the AI have difficulty ID'ing when a friendly unit is driving an enemy vehicle, for much the same reason. This can look somewhat realistic (in real life would you start shooting if you saw an enemy-model FAV driving towards you at distance?), but, anyone who's jumped in a T72 and then been liquidated by friendly armour or air support will agree with me. The AI have trouble telling when a unit such as a static weapon or car is empty (when it has been recently used by an AI, or at distance), or when the operator(s) is/are dead.

The Prez is in the town on the far northeast of the map, if he hasn't left yet. I assume you haven't looked there yet? The only thing you need to do in the main town is to kill off the Especas causing havoc. -
What you are referring to is known as a dual-boot system, and yes, it's possible to have both Vista and XP on the same machine, as long as each OS is installed on a different HD partition.

Just open up and axe the place. Make sure you've got several tonnes of AT4s and M403s, keep your AI buddies to your flanks and just shoot until everything's dead. Use the little bunker right in front of you to the start as cover, keep your AI back a bit to spot enemies who think they're smart, and just let loose. The stealth method is a sure invite to get killed. By the time I had finished with the beach, nothing was left alive and the landing force came in unopposed. Go figure. -

Methinks that would be from the coloured view blockers. He's coloured them to make them visible to us, otherwise it'd just look like normal smoke. In the final release, I'd assume the viewblockers would be transparent. -
