One more little gripe - driver doesn't turn out when in safe mode... on my system, anyway. Loving the good ole HE-Frag rounds, though! -
The normal maps on the troops need to be altered so you don't get those annoying MOLLE outlines, but otherwise the paint scheme is looking pretty good.

That YouTube video is good... what kind of effect does this have on the AI's ability to follow waypoints, however? Say if you were on top of that hill and you gave them a nice 20 round hoorah while they were running from (your) left to right... would they eventually get back on track or would they still be sitting around those walls 30 minutes later? I'm just curious, as I've never used these in a mission, and they look rather nifty. That video was very good. Also, what's the UPS script? -
Hint for anyone wanting to do the above: Make a backup of arma, then rename it to "supremecommander." After you've modified it, rename it back to arma. REMEMBER, if you have copy protection software, this will most likely root it up, so make SURE you have a copy. I haven't noticed any difference, and I've had this modification to my ArmA executable for quite some time now.

Could you check its velocity, then spawn once 0,0,0 has been reached? I guess this could be a problem if the grenade "goes off" whilst still moving, though, cause that smoke will be unblocked... but you'll find a way around it, I'm sure. -

Would be nice to see if you could do something about the base textures too, Charles, and some custom animations (e.g. bolt) would be shweet too, if you get time. Looking forward to it. -
The AI always know where you are. You shouldn't have to move them unless they are stuck (or you've ordered them to halt). They basically say "Where are you?" to let you know that they've fallen out of formation (this happens a crapload in forests). Generally if you wait they'll catch up to you, without having to issue any orders.

Nicely. My only gripe is that it may take a bit long for the viewblocker to disappear at the end, either that or the AI are mcstupid. But otherwise, v. v. nice. -

Yes... well, I play with 5,000m view distance rather than 10,000m because I prefer having more than 20-25 FPS in the northern forests, but yes, everything else is maxed (above maxed even, since I use 8x AA ). ASUS EN8800GTX @ 630MHz, 1075MHz. ASUS P5K Deluxe. Corsair 4GB 1066MHz Dominator XMS2 (3GB enabled for ArmA). Creative SB Audigy 2ZS. Intel E6600 @ 3.6GHz.

Perhaps times have changed, and the Russians are so strapped for cash that they've sent a few to the SLA. Plus, the T64BU is a Ukranian improvement of the base T64. The bottom line is - who cares. Err, no. The T64 is actually a superior tank to the T72, despite the "earlier" numerical designation, the T72 is the "export" (and thus inferior) version of the T64. So you'd actually be expecting the SLA to be holding the T64s back for their élite guard units, and using the 72s as cannon fodder. -

No, it's not the old uniform, it's the tri-color pattern of 03-05/06. Yeah, I think YacieK confused the old 6 colour desert blokes for 3ID troops, rather than the newer 3 colour desert strip blokes.

I agree that the extremes of such behaviour (and all forms of pure materialism) is to be abhorred, but to work to better one's own standing and amass value for oneself is human nature. Dystopic, but truthful.

No way they'd cut all those XPers outta the loop, I reckon. It'll probably have a DX9 compat mode, like CoH or WIC.
