No doubt this will be deleted, and perhaps I may be banned (but only by fools with a little bit of temporary power - and if so, then so be it. Fools are fools and will remain so). There was no discussion allowed about mods and paying somone for their good work and time, just "Not allowed, topic locked". Not giving any room for intelligent discussion really, is it? My point was about rewarding someone FOR THEIR TIME AND WORK. Funny, BIS want rewarding for their time and work, but they won't allow anyone else to be..? Edit: Fair do's - just read a moderator's reply. However, saying moderator's decisions are not up for discussion is bloody Hitler's germany if you ask me. Then again, OFP is war..! If I'm blocked or banned I don't think I'll care, if that's how it is, but what a shame there wasn't even a thought to discuss the issue.

Ok, so maybe I should remove the 'prize' and all would be ok? I genuinely just want someone who knows what they're doing to create a couple of characters that have decent anims using sticks and swords, then the rest is relatively easy. I don't mind paying someone for their time in doing so, hence the 'prize'. If it offends BIS or breaks some rules then I'll let it go, but I didn't think it was such an issue. After all, every time you drive your car, do you pay the manufacturer, or tell people you can't give them a lift because only you paid for the car? Honestly, life is getting silly... Edit: Further, if you spend time creating and editing something, and someone pays you for your time, what does it matter how you did it? Again, do you pay Black & Decker every time you trim your bush..?

Why is OFP Ancient Japan - wars of a different kind, but still war - not acceptable here? Or is it the idea of offering a cash prize for someone who produces good work? Hmmm... OFP is war in general. BIS charge money for their time, expertise and hard work. I'm happy to pay someone else for their time, expertise and hard work. So what, eaxactly, is wrong..?

Fancy doing some Japanese maples and other stuff for a mod I want to get going..? (URL in the sig)

I don't have the skills and time to create a new set of characters for a mod I want, but am willing to offer a $50 cash prize for whoever comes up with the best. It's only 2 simple main characters, as you'll see if you read the info at my website: Link removed. Some guys on the OFPEC forum have offered to help with maps and such, and I'm interested to hear from anyone who's enthusiastic about this. Go have a read and see - it will be amazing.
