i dont think so, im not spending 600$ on a PC game, dont tell me its an official simulator, i know that, but im not spending 600$ on a game when i could spend that much money and go to another country for a vacation

Fixed, i unjammed the CD drive, and now thats fixed and i used the CD drive to install so that worked out nicely and actually, i didnt really need to do anything, the 3D device error dosent show up, im not locking up or anything. What a wierd fluke..... anyway thanks for putting up with me lol

I had problems with OFP before hand it would freeze or crash to desktop saying : "Cannot create 3D device : Adapter 0 (NVIDIA GeForce FX 5600) FullScreen Resolution 1024x768, format X8R8G8B8/D24S8, refresh 85Hz Error D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE" so i looked around and decided i need to update the driver, and reinstall, i updated the driver and uninstalled and now it wont install. Itll install for about the first 6 minutes or so and come up and say : "File Copy error (CRC dose not match). C:\Program files\Codemaster\Operation Flashpoint\Res\Dta\Fonts.pbo" wich is sorta funny since the folder dosent even exist at this point. whats the deal? it seems this game just dosent want to play on my system anymore FYI : Specs O.S. : Microsoft XP BIOS : Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG MEMORY : 512MB RAM DIRECTX : 9.0c VIDEO : NVIDIA GeForce FX 5600 256MB And the Current Driver installed dates back to 6/15/2005 ----------- Its funny becuase this game has been working fine since the 3 years ive had it, now its starting it act up for no reason wich has caused me to uninstall this due to the freezing. I download addons often but i uninstalled the latest addon beliveing that was the case, but it was still freezing, now i uninstall and it cant copy the files... P.S. Attention "Fourm Search" Militants and fanatics, I have searched for topics on these problems and NOTHING comes up according to my search paramiters, it all seems randomly generated.

ok i wasent sure were exactly to look for the motherboard so i went to the Device manager and found under controllers a "VIA Bus Master IDE Controller" this is the only thing i found with VIA but like i said its wierd that flashpoint wont work right anymore after working perfectly fine for 3 years.... the Differnt drivers for the video card are just for that Cannot Creat 3D device error right? I found some help on that already, i dont want to go switching drivers yet (Already swapped like 8 drivers allready lol) and the disk dosent have any bad scars on it, but i am useing a DVD drive to install it from, the CD drive above it is jammed, but i have installed perferctly from it before, but i will try unjamming the CD drive and trying to install from it.

eh this didnt work, i cant figure out if the 5600 Error can be solved or not if i cant install the damn game.

yeah,  looks like im forced to get ArmA  damn,  and that new version of ECP just came out too! Damnit!!! Ill  try what you said Shin  hope i fix it and the CD isnt scratched, it hardly leaves the disk drive  lol oh and BtW, Will be Tampered with at MY own risk

thats what ive been hopeing you all would come around too. look at Americas Army's ragdolls! they are perfect! once they fall nothing else can influence them except the terrian, an explosion wont move them, a car can hit it and itll just clip through. this way its the awesomness of ragdoll, without the performance hit. though id like to see momentum in the ragdolls though, kinda like that Flat Out game, if you eject out of a car, your body would die, go into ragdolls and youd sorta "Roll" or with most ragdolls "Slide" and jump a few bumps in the ground lol, wich is still cool! Also, Korax how exactly do you know or gurantee that ragdolls wont be in ArmA ?

shoot,physics thats easy for me to say Ragdolls. And since alot of people are complaining about CPU issues that could come out of this, then i say include the ragdolls, but for people that have a CPU issue they could turn the ragdolls off Postal 2 did this. Devastation did this. MOH:PA sorta did this.

improve gameplay? funny, i thought it was perfect the way it was all i thought ArmA was, was a graphics and render upgrade with alot of other goodies.

darn, i really wanted to fire a tank shell at someone and punt him in ragdoll fashion. honestly, i belive ragdolls would be nice to see in a game such as this, the type of ragdolls that AA <Americas Army> has got it right, they do thier ragdoll death and freeze after all movement has stopped CPU is unaffected by this play it and see what i mean.

so the new ECP is available for download right now? now the only reason ill be buying OFP2 or ArmA is for the Ragdolls, if they have them.
