I personally am a big john wayne fan. I liked the green berets, but i dont think it was a fantastic movie (just like i like Bill and teds excellent adventure). Its one of the only Vietnam movies that doesn't have americans killing civiesor one another. EDIT: Wow, this things going like wildfire.

Sorry I started this flame war. I will admit that Apocalypse Now is more of a phycological thing, and the plot is pretty simple (Kill colonel Kurtz), but i still like it, and if you dont, thats okay too. you can have your own opinion. Just stop the flaming before this thread gets locked.

I like combined arms assaults against elusive rebel forces. Makes for interesting scenarios.

Apocalypse Now was by far the best war movie ever. The most intersting charechters, dark, dark humor, and some of the best scenes of all time (Chopper attack reinvented Ride of the Valkyries). Some people like we were soldiers, i agree it was kinda cool, but it didn't have a real message other than americans rock. This is okay, but it is just like alot of old WW2 movies, when other vietnam movies dont portray either side as good, adding more to the horrors of war feeling you get.

The more i think the more i know this will be awesome. The civil war mod was cool, but theirs just something unique about the west that makes you want to buy a six gun and walk into a saloon. Â

I would love to have improved physics, but after paying so much for basic upgrades for battlefield 1942, I dont think im gonna pay $20+ just to have a little better helicopter or tank that can and based on ofp1 will be made for free by one of the air wizards, same goes for tanks and ships.

Seeing as how the jpmod forums are down for a day or 2 i just thought i would annonuce that i have finished isla sorna's terrain and i am currently placing objects.

I am making an island based on a map and im having problems with correct scale. Does anyone know what the size (km) of each grid box in flashpoint is?

How did you get the space enviorment for the x-wing to fly in?

My dad has told us about how in the 60's they found alot of Japanese soldiers in the jungles how did not think the war was over. Pretty wierd, yet oddly honorable.

I do. I'm using areas all over the excellent Phouc Tuy Province for a mission involving a downed pilot's mission to return to his own lines. A large island gives many possibilities for mission makers.
