you are not alone.... I really hope this is worth the wait. And I hope we get more information about OFP2 in the meantime. Most people believed that OFP2 would be postponed. But only few ever thought that it would be postponed until 2006! -

link 2 isn't working for me link 1 tells you a nice story, but doesn't give any proof (no photo etc.) or the names of any of the witnesses. I have my doubts that this story is true. Why should a B2 fly at low altitude if they have GPS guied bombs? Can you be sure that the B2 was hidden by an radar guided or IR missile? Perhaps the ground units just opened flak fire to somewhere in the air because they heard something? to passive radar: I didn't mean the radar technology used in civil air control. There the aircraft sends a special signal (e.g. using a Transponder) and the ground units receive it. I meant a radar system like Vera

where was the proof that B2 bombers are not invisible on radar? perhaps on passive radar, but it is unclear if anyone has passive radar.

there will be a "KSK Version" in the G36 pack. As far as I know there won't be KSK soldiers. GSG9: These are troops of the German Border Patrol (Bundesgrenzschutz) I don't think a mod team making units of the German Army (Bundeswehr) will make these units.

just a short question: If you post screenshots showing your upcoming units, please use OFP ingame (the best) or O2 screenshots. The units look much more than they will look ingame after release in other 3rd Party 3d program.

JR release a GIGN pack only a few days ago. There are Terrorists included in this pack They are not the best ever made but they are of good quailty just check the official forums or some newssites to find a dl link -

ok, now we know that there will be a medic in the next version of the Basic Pack Thanks for the information. I thought about making a CTI with german units some time ago but gave up. There is no real attack helicopter in the German Army (the Tiger will have no machine gun (und die Grünen sind schuld ;) , the BO105 is not a very powerful weapon) This will make a CTI very hard for german units if the enemies are armed realistic. No AA systems in OFP would make it nessesary to use US Systems like the Vulcan or some ADATS systems and furthermore there is no german medic available at the moment. Last but not least it would not be realistic that german units fight against an enemy without support by other contries. ___ one "n" too much....

@Mr Burns a german would call this a "Freund'scher Fehler" I don't know the exact english word for it, perhaps someone else does. The new features of the Eurofighter sound really promissing. Most of the features are really completly new. (realistic ILS, ACES, etc.) But I still would like to get some more information. If I can equip my plane with a script can I change my loudout while reloading? How will this work? About ILS: We know now it will be quite realistic. But how is that supported by OFP maps? And what if there are two or more runways? Which one will be used? Is it possible to use all? Can't wait until the final release. The EF will be the most advanced aircraft addon ever made for OFP with all this new features. __ As it looks like at the moment there will be no german AA system (projects are halted) This is very sad because you need them if you want to create realistic missions.

there is another bug in the last sigma US tank pack if you play cti (with modern units like the US tanks included) and sit in the tank and it is destroyed sometimes you die TWICE (at least you are mentioned twice on the left side of your screen) In other games this is not too bad but in CTI you spawn as a standard US soldier with an M16 (without ammo) and all menus are gone The game is over for those people and for the others too. Hopefully there is a bugfix for this anoying bug very soon I think it has something to do with the burning scripts. But I don't know if there is a possibilty to turn them off. If there is, please tell me as soon as possibile

DRF mod: stolen and leaked textures by RHS

really a very nice addon but unfortunately the mirror provided is very slow and it will become slower as more people will download it And I will not upload it to ofp.info mirrors because black baron seems not to like that this addon can be downloaded on any other site. you can find the old news on ofp.info with some more screenshots here: http://ofp.gamezone.cz/index.php?showthis=6842 The version provided for download there is an old version (v1.0) don't download it

He will... the new keyboard-commands alone are just amazing. there are some strange things never seen in OFP in the EF addon: In the video by LHO you can see that the Afterburner was activated without the action menu I didn't know you can bind a key to this option in OFP. And furthermore: How will the ILS work? What is meant by "New possibilities of armament"? Are now indiviual armaments possible? Not only then ones given by some addon makers? If yes, what about reloading? Is it possible to change armament at this point? "New control options"? What's that? And how will the ECM work? Hopefully not the unrealistic ECM like in other addons what makes it impossible to lock your radar on a target. ECM doesn't make this impossible. Furthermore I always woundered why ECM also works with IR Weapons. Is it possible to avoid this in OFP or is it just another engine limitation? Just another question concering realism: Will the RWR (Radar Warning Receiver) also warn about IR missiles or e.g. a AA-12 fired by a Mig29? I don't know if it is possible to make this in OFP. btw: Hardrock: Your counter on xt-counter.de slows down your complete site and is not working anyway

I believe that it is not ok to use their work without their permission. If you can't contact them, they will not give permission. The fact is that it is their work and they can decide what should be done with it. And if don't decide anything it should not be used by others
