I had the same problem, damn THOSE ATI!!!! Kickem in the nutts, just bought the Radeon 9600, had Gforce 4 worked like a charm. This is how I solved my problem: 1. Reinstall OFP 2. upgrade to 1.96Beta 3. Dont put anything in the addons, dont use -nosplash. 4. If still not working, go to ResistancePreferences.exe and lower the textures to 512x 512 , Special Effects 64x64, Autodropdown 4x 1B. If you dont wanna follow all this, do the nr.4 and remove all addons that have to do with Islands and other big addons. Remember, to be able to work with good gfxCards, lower the configs in preferences.exe then ingame choose Options and you can higher them up. I configs that work: gfxCard: Radeon 9600 256Mb Catalyst: Newest OFP Preferences: Resolution: 1024x768 Effects 32max lights all boxes checked Textures, Objects, Landscape 512x512 Spfx 64x64 autodropdown 4x Details-Max objects 256

Better support for ATI cards, as in Radeon 9200 and up! So that the people who buy really good graphic cards dont have to lower their graphic quality or remove addons.

naaah I got like 3 Reistance CD key's and 1 Flashpoint cd key's. 1 GOTY, 2 from 1 Resistance( that was a manufacturor problem) So Im gonna try to make a copy of that GOTY that is scrached.

Let me tell you alittle story. I got my first OFP game from a retail salesmen, through a friend who owned a store. I was very interested in the new game, got few OFP posters. I think I was one of the first people who got the game in Sweden, cuz the game was released few days after I got it. I loved the game, but played so much that I scrached the CD. So I bought GOTY version, and then I had even more fun. Today I bought a graphic card, and I installed it, but OFP wouldn't run. So I decided to reinstall it. I poped the GOTY Cd's in and once was so scrached that I couldn't install it, no problem there I had the orignal CD. So I put the Orignal CD and waited, about 3/4 of the installation I heard a loud BANG! I thought my Graphic card was broken, so I took a look at the CD driver and it wouldn't open with the button, I noticed that I could pull it out and what I saw was the Original CD Cracked in to pieaces. Looks like someone took a hammer and smashed it. So my question is: WHATTA HELL?!!
