Fantstic Addon! Thank you Araon. It's a beauty. I love the cockpit. I can almost smell the wood! Dogfighting is hard, but aiming grenades out of the cockpit is even harder... Tremendous Fun, I say! Cheers, Cyrille PS: A french Spad would be cool too

Thanks for your help with BIS, Bn880! Good work there. I wouldn't say that the problem is solved yet, but it is clearly identified yet, which is a huge step forward. How long did you have to test to find when and how the bug happens in the game?

I voted 3. It looks classic, well balanced and yet original. It feels like the country has an old history, and the people who live there are nice, peaceful guys... All the flags with a capital N inside a laurel crown feel too much Napoleonic for my taste.

Did you also destroy the small recon chopper (OH 58 I think) parked near the buildings? You really have to destroy everything, all the helicopters, even if the mission goals incorrectly say that you already have destroyed the choppers. I also had to manualy fire a few more rockets to the targets my gunner supposedly had destroyed before, to end the mission. Hope this helps, Cyrille

I should maybe have posted this in the Off topic forum... But to get the subject back on topic, I will say that I hope that this event will not delay the next OFP patch too much!

I've seen the message two days ago saying the forum was down because of the floods in the Czech Republic. I hope nobody at BIS suffered from this catastrophic event and that no damage was done to your working tool. I also hope everything comes back to a normal state very soon in your country. Sincerely, Cyrille

Yes, you can still play whichever version of OFP you want after installing Resistance. OperationFlashpoint.exe still works as before in version 1.46, and even has its own config program. Cheers, Cyrille

Very ear splitting, and bad for my nerves. I uninstalled Resistance, and reinstalled OFP to version 1.46, and now the problem is absolutely gone... It looks definitely like a Resistance problem

...It must be a combination of Windows XP and Resistance, then...

Aiken, do you also have to shut down your computer to get rid of the hissing sound? Very strange, we don't have the same soundcard nor the same kind of motherboard....

Thanks for the suggestion, Mr Fragg, but unfortunately I already downloaded the latest drivers for my card...

Hello, Here is a problem that I could not find using search, or looking at many FAQs: To get rid of many sound problems in OFP and Resistance, I changed my crappy SB Live value by buying a Hercules Fortissimo II. Some of my previous problems disappeared (no more horrible crackling sounds during helo missions) but I got some new ones. The most painful one happens after playing OFP/Resistance for a while. The ingame sounds disappear and are replaced by a horrible loud hissing sound that drills through my ears and forces me to take my headphones off. The only solution I've found to make that shrill noise vanish is to shut my computer down, after ending the game and going back to windows. I also have a few other sound problems, but less serious. For instance, some of my orders ("three go to house") are transformed in a strange incomprehensible squeak that could have been made by a sick Donald Duck! But the problem I really want to solve is the hissing sound. I tried to switch hardware acceleration off in the game, but it doesn't change anything... I really hope someone can help me... The same thing happened to me too at the end of the original campaign... But I thought it was an artistic choice made by the BIS team, so they would not show the "end" of their relationship ! And it sounded quite right, too. LOL!
