There seem too many people who want to cause trouble with the use of my infamy....both on OFP IRC channels and multiplayer (gamespy, servers)...by using my 'Cumboy' nick.. Anyone doing such things are all imposters...they must realise that there can be only one true Cumboy...and that is me..so pay no attention to anyone using my nick on IRC and multiplayer causing trouble...cause it isn't me I am actually a very good CTF player who plays under a different nick now....

Yes that was me.... It was used in my 'Hunter-Killer' mission........ Oh and you use the 'distance' command in the trigger condition line to initiate the strike....... i.e plane1 distance target1 < 500 This works well for a mulitple drop at the usual alititude that the AI flies at...

Hi, I hope everyone who downloaded my mission 'Hunter-Killer' thought it was ok.... However it is on to new things, I'm itching to start a new mission and I was just wondering if there was anything anyone particularly wants to see done in a mission, whether it has never been done or only glanced upon several times. I would appreciate any feedback from anyone with useful input as I feel a bit of market research never hurt anyone! Thanks all!

Hi all, I know everyone hates me....and I've given up trying to hide....however I still think I have the ability to create half decent aviation OFP missions (which are a rarity) so I'm still at it..... I hope you all enjoy this one....quite an original concept... 'Hunter-Killer' puts you flying a OH-58D Kiowa Warrior from the 3rd/17th Air Cavalry on armed reconnaissance flights scouting, designating artillery and providing light fire support throughout the war torn island of Everon - Uses a custom designed script for artillery fire missions - Plenty of cutscenes for those cinematic buffs out there - Above all, original concept not yet performed in any official release Any and all comments are welcome.....either here or at [email protected] Download from here... http://www.sphosting.com/cumboy/Missions/ BTW thanks to Placebo for the tip on sphosting...i just didnt think of that for some reason... The SU25 mission? That was great! Can't understand why it received a 2...no wait I know why....most of the reviewers are biased towards a certain type of mission and don't often put a lot of effort into their reviews (some obviously don't even warrant correct spelling )

The 'BAT21/Behind Enemy Lines' idea is definitely going to be done by me, however not until I have the 'Resistance' addon which shouldn't be too long. I would just like the added map size and of course the pistols. It will just make for a much better mission experience...trust me..

Hehe, Funnily enough Shadow, a mission I had going while I was doing 'Hunter-Killer' was 'Strike Swiftly 2' (from the original Cumboy mission 'Strike Swiftly'....Behind enemy lines conducting reconnassaince and patrols over several days.... This will hopefully be released soon..... However I think there is a black-op mission overload in OFP....this however will be far from the norm and as I am Cumboy you all know this will be true...

Just use the "setdammage" command... i.e (in the init line) this setdammage 1 The tank or whatever will blow up on initialisation... or you can use the health/armour bar. Just set it to zero.

I am also going to release a 1.2 version with the swearing taken out (I don't think everyone liked it) and adding custom voices....

Thanks avonlady To receive credit from a OFP celeb like you is nice... I have voiced my objections to Mike_Beil concerning the CHQ review. I think he ordered it fixed, though little was changed. The reviewer (Forsaken) I think lacks the ability to satisfy his position. He doesn't seem able to construct an English sentence properly and concentrated more upon who I was than the actual quality of the mission. His obvious bias towards certain mission types also greatly affected the review and left the whole result under-cutting what I think is one of the best OFP missions yet. I think he was just out to pick problems in it from the start once he heard it had been written by me. I wish people would embrace the potential of OFP instead of just giving high marks to hour-long cutscenes and adding to the already flooded 'Spec-ops' missions market.

Yes we all know this, I in fact have a CPL helicopter licence (though I fly fixed-wing for a living)... I suggest not to worry about it too much. With the depth that OFP has I don't really think we need to worry about everything being authentic as possible. I'll look into it. Myabe I can come up with a script (I always do)

Yes the only thing you can do to prevent this is what Neo said. If an AI pilot approaches a LZ at normal speed (250) they pull up and slow by converting their speed into altitude. The only way to prevent this would be to alter the AI, or to make them approach at a slower speed (limited).. As Cumboy, this is my diagnosis..

Oh what does eveyone think of the cutscenes/outro.....any other features that haven't been mentioned. Just like to know what people like...
