    Server fps and load

After running #monitor command, we found out that with 25 players, the servers fps ranges between 2-5 FPS. Incoming is 600 and outgoing kbs is 330. With 10 ppl playing the fps is between 50-60. What is considered respectable frames and if someone could give the minimum server specs running upwards of 20-25 people. CHeers

    Online cheats

Cheating will never bother OFP because the cheats are easy to catch. Besides, if i think any1 is cheating, i just put on a coop map, die, and spectate the guy and watch for anything unusual. Besides ofp isnt like Cs, its more like TFC where cheats hardly do much to change a game.

    1.60 bug on server

Well, we decided to implement 1.60 after some careful discussion. The main problem im having is the missions. For most missions, the scripts will fail to kick in making them unplayable. We will be doing a total reinstallation in the coming days unless someone can find a fix for this strange problem. CRO [iPGN]

Suma, bis, more support for server admins

What about the client side password setting Suma. So us admins dont have to contact our main admin and give a weeks notice for him to set pword for wars.

Suma, bis, more support for server admins

I agree damage, (howdy). as Australias only major ISP dedicated server admin, i find it is necessary to allow admins who do not have access to the server to be able to change maps in the rotation and add new maps. (the reason being is that the ISP's Main admin is too busy with other servers like CS, TFC, DOD etc to respond to and rectify mistakes in the OFP server. Also he is a very busy man as he looks after other major areas in the company. It takes several days just for him to upload maps for us and it can be annoying. (of course, i get the blame being the admin) Another valid command i suggest you look into is allowing the admin to set passwords for the server so wars can be booked. At this stage, up to a weeks notice must be given to our Main server admin so he can change the password in the servers .cfg file. Allowing the servers admin to set a command like this can greatly easy the lead time to book a server. Cheers, JOE
