Anything that is calssified as a mounted MG has a great big light on at night. Before you say: "Its night! Its supposed to have a light!" the light floats in thin air and won't go off unless your in it. I don't belive M2s have a mounted searchlight.

Well, I purchased Resistance and installed it. The first thing I noticed that wasn't right was when I clicked on the Mission Editor it says that i'm missing the picture of Nogova. Then when I am looking over the "new island" I notice that there are numerous missing textures and objects. The most noticable of these objects is the Bridge, its just not there. Then when I try to look over the new vehicles and units I find nothing new. No Civ Bus, No V-80, No Officer with handgun, no Motorbike, Not a damn thing! I reinstalled it and I still have the same problem! When I click on one of the new SP Missions it says: Missing Addon BIS_Resistance Help...

Wanna see realism? Use a knife and you'll probably end up like that guy in Proof of Life. He got shot. In Vietnam hand to hand was esential because of how close the enemy could get to you. Like in one of the campaign missions in which me and 3 others ran into a Russian commando in the woods not 10 feet from us. If you run out of ammo I can guarantee there will be somebody on either side dead with enough ammo on him.

We'll probably have a modern-day Korean War before the years over. I believe Bush stood on the Korean DMZ about a week or two ago and looked out at N. Korea.

I say you could take a break from the model and see if the script idea and larger proj. works. You could use the M1A1 model for that with of course a shorter range.

What you say about the Russian .50s during WWII I believe is correct and also applies to the rest of this debate. .50 AT Rifles cannot take out MBTs but are able to punch through light armor(M113,BMP,LAV-25) possibly medium armor(M60 Patton,T55,T72). MBTs have the best armor out there. I think the M1A2 has a ceramic composite steel alloy for armor.(I think)

I know for a fact that during WWII the Russians used .50 AT rifles extensively. They did take out tanks.

I myself think that the picture is quite real. If you have good eyesight like me you can see the dust on the ground against and from the M109's tracks. The fireball seems pretty real considering the two HUGE holes on the end of the cannon.The fire is comming right from the holes.
