My friend acciedentaly downloaded the polish 1.42 patch to my game. Is there anyway to go back to normal???

I downloaded patch 1.30 and it was succesfull Escept everthings white. I downloaded it 2 or 3 more times and the problem persisted I then Downloaded the 1.40 path. Succesfull The ground was still white though...

After scouting, Col. Blake comes up and tells me its over and that I cannot continue in the army. I figured it was the red XXXss. But everytime I played the mission, the XXXs would always be there...
